⭐⭐ Unfortunately, I did not feel that this hotel was worth the price, particularly as it was slightly more expensive than other options nearby. I travelled alone with my five-year-old autistic daughter after visiting Paultons Park. I arrived in comfortable clothes, carrying a backpack, shopping bags and wearing an autism lanyard. From the moment I arrived, I did not feel particularly welcomed. I was given very little guidance, not even a clear explanation of which floor my room was on. I also felt that business travellers and families who appeared more affluent received warmer and more attentive service. I cannot know the reason, but the difference in treatment made me feel judged by my appearance and circumstances. The most uncomfortable experience happened at the bar. I pointed directly to the Chicken Caesar item on the menu but mispronounced “Caesar”. The staff member clearly understood what I wanted, yet repeated the name back in a harsh and irritated tone. I was exhausted after a full day at the park, speaking in my second language while my autistic daughter was distressed beside me. A little patience and kindness would have made a significant difference. A hotel near an internationally known attraction should be prepared to welcome tourists with different accents and levels of English. The room provided tea, coffee, sugar and a kettle, but there was no water jug or proper drinking glasses. I was not expecting complimentary bottled water—just a jug and glasses that I could fill from the tap would have been enough after arriving tired and thirsty. I originally chose this hotel partly because it had a children’s play area, but after a full day at the park, my daughter only needed somewhere comfortable to eat and sleep. In hindsight, this additional facility did not justify paying more, especially given the lack of hospitality we experienced. I have previously stayed at a much simpler hotel nearby, with no restaurant of its own, where the adjoining pub provided excellent service, delicious food and a generous breakfast. That experience was far more welcoming and better value than this supposedly higher-standard hotel. The hotel itself may look attractive and offer good facilities, but hospitality is ultimately about how guests are treated. Every paying guest deserves the same courtesy, regardless of their clothes, perceived social status, family circumstances, accent or level of English. Sadly, I would not choose to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, a special room for the little kids, a health club for the adults and close to the motorway. Friendly staff, clean presentation and all usual bits you expect. Also not far from Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World). 😊

We stayed here as part of the Paultons hotels breaks and it did not disappoint. Check in was so smooth a women who was checking us in was training but so professional she was so helpful with needed extra bits like milk and sugar for the rooms. Bar staff were really friendly with my son and giving him cookies and milk at night time as part of our package. Beds were really comfortable only little issue was kids bed the metal bar my son caught himself on but luckily nothing major. Rooms were very clean. Service in morning the man who showed us to the table was really professional food was really nice great variety for everyone. Kids playroom was so lovely for the kids. Swimming pool we looked at but we was so tired from the day we never got the change to go. This was the main thing we really wanted to do but we was so tired. Check out the man was very professional to thanked us for staying and to enjoy your day. Parking is £7.50 for overnight stay. We had a lovely stay here and if we was to come back again we will stay here. Not forgetting the smell of the aroma as you walked in honestly I need this in my home the smell was unreal and I love a scent

Arrived really late. Found Pierre (front desk) to be quite sarcastic and didn't have a good first impression. Also be aware even if you have a blue badge you will be expected to pay the £7.50 per day on top of your room rate for parking. However, the hotel was beautiful nicely decorated. Super king room is definitely worth the price and the bed was soooo comfy and has aircon on the room which was nice during the heatwave. As a plus size person it was also nice that the toilet wasnt in a small cupboard like room like some other hotels. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety hot and cold. Special shout out to Dominic who was super friendly and made our mornings easier, and was very sweet and wanted to help me as I walk with a stick, going out of his way to help and ask us how our day previous had gone. Be aware you also need to book slots for breakfast especially during busy times but this was easily done at reception. Same for the pool you need to book a slot too which is roughly 45 minutes. The changing rooms are open changing rooms male and female separated though. There is 1 private changing room in there. Also the staff member who's surname is Crane (as we joked we had same surname) was also very friendly and really nice to chat to. Very professional and should earn that recognition. Also to those who have children this hotel is really family friendly. It has a kids room by the restaurant with lots of toys and tv etc.
