  Very nice hotel. Staff is exceptional. Always friendly, always helpful. We were there during the record heat wave in June '26. The A/C really had trouble keeping up- but that was common all over England. Restaurant was really good. Great fish & chips. Tomahawk pork steak was wonderful. Nice bar in the restaurant.

  Easy to find straight off the motorway. Outside of hotel has been modernized as well as reception and neighbouring restaurant and rooms. Yet the halls to rooms and rooms themselves are in need of an update. It's a nice hotel overall, I just don't think it represents great value for money and then additional costs to park your car (£7.50) just compounds that. Having now stayed at both hotels in that area. The premier Inn is slightly better value .

  Whilst well situated on the fringe of Southampton. The package for an overnight stay, car parking for the 14 day holiday, restaurant(breakfast only included) and taxi to cruise terminal( not return fter cruise to hotel for car)was expensive at £400.

  The location of this hotel is great for a visit to Peppa pig world, it is about 15 minutes drive. The hotel is very family friendly, with a playroom (showing Peppa pig on tv) next to the restaurant, a swimming pool and a kids menu (which was free with an adult meal). Children also get a free cookie and milk voucher to be redeemed at the bar before bed! There were lots of other families staying here and the staff were very accommodating, providing high chairs. Really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Good vegetarian options. Swimming pool is run by a different operator, so make sure to pop in and book a slot. Changing rooms recently renovated so nice and clean and in great condition. They have swim nappies, goggles armbands etc to buy if you need them and some free toiletries if needed. Pool is nice and warm and there is a small splash pool along side the big pool. (Plus a jacuzzi and steam room). (Check renovation dates as there are some closures). £1 coins for lockers. Parking is easy but chargeable (£7.50 for one night, make sure to pay on the iPads on arrival). Spaces are plentiful but narrow. Amazing staff. Room was a little tired in places but still very comfortable. Ironing board, kettle, hairdryer provided. Really recommend for a family stay. There is also a big playground and big outdoor splash pad just down the road and a separate leisure centre adjacent.

  I paid for my parking during check in. But I received a parking fine for the duration of my stay a few days later!! Ridiculous. They have taken my money and neglected to record my car number, resulting in the fine. This is probably the worst Holiday Inn hotel I have ever stayed in. Checking in took a really long time. There was just 1 person handling all the check ins. Needless to say, it was the coldest service I have ever received at any Holiday Inn hotel. He was practically reading off a check in script in a deadpan tone. Also, my children were showering when there was a power cut and the lights were turned off. We then had to wait for a technician to come by to get the lights back for us.
