  Great rooms, friendly staff and a 30 min walk to Andover. Trouble is the restaurant. Like a lot of Prem Inn restaurants, they are closing down and only open for hotel guests. That means that they are all empty, only open for a few hours and they don't have any taps on to serve pints.

  ​If you’ve stayed at one Premier Inn, you’ve pretty much stayed at them all—and this one fits that baseline standard to a tee. Nothing was catastrophically wrong, but nothing was particularly memorable either. ​The Location & Surroundings The hotel is situated on an industrial estate right off a busy main road. Expect a fair bit of traffic noise if your window faces the road, and the immediate surroundings aren’t exactly built for a scenic evening stroll. That said, if you’re heading to Thruxton Circuit, the proximity is hard to beat. It’s an ideal, low-friction pit stop if you just need a bed close to the track. ​The Room Standard Premier Inn layout. The bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep, and the room was clean, but the overall feel was purely functional. It does the job if you just need a place to crash, but don't expect any character or extra frills. ​Food & Drink The attached restaurant serves its purpose, but the food for both dinner and breakfast was distinctly mediocre

  We’re staying at the Premier Inn and went to the restaurant for dinner. We were told there were no tables available until 8pm, despite only around four people being in the restaurant at the time. I appreciate tables may have been reserved for later, but no explanation or alternative was offered. What disappointed me most was how rudely the server spoke to us. A polite explanation would have made a big difference. It was a poor customer service experience, particularly as hotel guests hoping to eat on site.

  I’ve stayed for 2 weeks the Room was as expected for a premier inn, the service was amazing Aevan and Jess went above and beyond for the 8 guys we had eating every evening can’t recommend them enough and they should really be recognised by management for their service. Location is easy to get to with lots of parking, but there is some road noise but this is to be expected.

  This PI really just misses out on 5 stars for me. The parking looks quite small coming in but is plenty spacious though I could imagine it getting full especially if you arrive as late as I did. I had a prem plus room and it was great other than a few features not working that seldom changed the experience mostly the alight in the bathroom was missing and one in the mirror didn't work. While that is a theme that follows the hotel, which would also track for such a chain. Things are looking a bit tired and worn and I am sure the staff moan about it while it seems the head office do very little. Overall though had a great stay perfectly clean room incredibly friendly and professional staff, the woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful while the staff for breakfast also made me very welcome and attended all my needs Location wise it's a very tight right turn and is a bit out of the way of the town I feel though it has a maccys and is close to a main road hence why I gave it four stars here if it is what you need it's fine and it may have other amenities close by though I didn't notice and only stayed the one night. No complaints look forward to this place having it's refurb and I am sure it will be a 5/5 Would recommend
