  Rooms ok, would advise asking about restaurant availability before arrival as after a four hour drive went to the restaurant only to be told there would be no food. Apparently only had one new chef even though they were also expecting the hotel to be full. To be fair looking at the restaurant the McDonalds over the road was possibly a better option.

  Not bad. No hot breakfast buffet and no plug sockets by bed! There’s USB and USB-C sockets but I avoid them as they are a risk for malware/data theft. Went down at breakfast at 8:05am on a Saturday and saw no hot food. Had to order what I wanted which took a lot longer and is just not as easy. On the plus side food is hotter and fresher. Lady working breakfast is so hard-working and nice it’s impossible to be annoyed. Due to refurb works (which did not disturb me in any way) they gave free ultimate WiFi which was nice. Whole hotel is being redone which is a positive. Conveniently placed for a bus to old Sarum and Salisbury
