  Unfortunately, this was a pretty disappointing stay. The main issue was the bedding. There wasn’t a proper duvet cover/duvet setup, just a very thin sheet, which really wasn’t sufficient as the room became quite cold during the night. At the same time, the room also had no air conditioning, so later on it became uncomfortably warm and my feet were roasting. There was a small desk fan provided, but it didn’t make much difference. The Wi-Fi was also very poor and unreliable, which added to the frustration. Overall, the combination of being cold during part of the night, then too warm later on, inadequate bedding, no air conditioning and poor Wi-Fi made for a pretty uncomfortable stay. Definitely not the standard I was expecting.

  We were kept waiting at reception for 10 minutes while the receptionist left and ran off across to another building to deal with something for the woman in front of me. No apology for keeping us waiting, just impolite minimal customer service. Just to let any future guests aware, all we had was a bed and desk, nowhere for both guests to sit, the room was half empty. I have never had such poor customer service from a Premier, I have always been greeted by a friendly face and made to feel very welcome, such a shame. The advert say you know what you're getting at a Premier Inn, well, apparently not. One last thing, if you want a quilt on your bed you've got to make it yourself.

  Hotel rooms ok but the meals on an evening are diabolical its not the quality of the food or the staff as they are soo overworked, it seems premier inn are cutting costs at the customers expense ! Are they in trouble, are they going bankrupt?

  One of our rooms was already occupied by someone else, real risk. The hotel is three separate buildings, the newest conversion is a bit of a rabbit Warren but at least there is air-conditioning. The breakfast is a farce, coffee machine not working and no eggs.

  Fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay. I must admit I was a little apprehensive but after 3 nights, my view totally changed. Breakfast was amazing and it was all you can eat. I just couldn't do it justice. But I must say the morning staff in the restaurant, Paula, she was outstanding, happy and her positivity was contagious 😊 Looking forward to our stay next year. We both totally recommend staying here.
