  My go to hotel for work. Cristina, Arun, Kinga and Remy on reception are always accommodating and Julie and her team in the bar are very welcoming. Hotel air con in the recent heat is a godsend. Rooms always clean and tidy. Gym has a great selection of equipment. Large bed and the TV casting works perfectly. Most importantly, the shower is hot.

  Would happily return! Pros - Friendly service - Speedy check in, none of that "holding fee" you get surprised with at other places - Nice bar with good food (slightly pricey but very enjoyable) - Clean room, comfortable mattress, blackout curtains, good air con, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, nice toiletries in room, tv you can cast your own stuff to! - Not far by car to some good locations Cons - Pool can be a bit chaotic but that's not the hotels fault of course, just something to be mindful of if you were looking for a quiet/relaxing swim -Minor issue that didn't bother me much but worth mentioning, the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet very well and the flush wasn't very strong, left me slightly worried it would break or clog

  What a lovely Hotel the Holiday Inn Gloucester and Cheltenham is! We were firstly met by a very pleasant gentleman called Remy on reception. It was only his third day working there but you would never have known. He was extremely helpful, met us with a beautiful smile every time my sister and I saw him, which was often, and he made our stay a great one. The Full Breakfast was beautiful every morning and there was a very witty lady in the dining room. I didn’t catch her name but she also put a smile on our faces at the start of each day! Our room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable so we slept very well for the busy day ahead. When we returned our rooms had been tidied and we had clean towels regularly. After a great day out, we returned to the Hotel, met Remy again with a warm ‘hello’ and small talk about our day out and stay at the Hotel before heading off to the hotel swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna! What could be better? There was a great gym there too but we were too exhausted to use it. We would highly recommend this hotel and my sister and I will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful 3 days stay!

  Upon arrival i was warmly welcomed by Kpoga, Cristina and Arun on reception. The room was clean with a/C which was a nice touch given the current heat spell. I always find the beds here comfy and clean. In the bar area again welcomed by staff who took my order efficiently. The friendly Julia delivered my food to my table. The portion was just enough for my needs and tasted lovely. In the morning I was welcomed by Claudine who had a lovely happy smile on her face. I found all the staff welcoming and ataintative.

  Not the best Morning was extremely noisy - could hear talking, opening/closing doors, suitcases etc from corridor outside room extremely clearly - much more so than in my own normal house with normal doors. Not like noise makers were being especially noisy as well. Could hear noises from neighbouring rooms too. Meant, for 100£ approx per night, couldnt sleep/enjoy peaceful rest after approx 7.30am. Whole point of hotel like this is to have peaceful rest which I couldn't have. Pool etc good to have Room was clean Staff were mediocre Because of noise didn't think good use of my money and would not return -need to invest in some noise dampening doors/seals/add things to door so that they can't make loud noise when opening/closing
