  You get what you pay for I guess. If you like being woken up by constant doors slamming in the corridor. This’ll be perfect.

  Stood at the reception with my family. Like as if we were invisible. Staff just walking around reception, watching us with luggage and kids and not giving a damn! - maybe it was because we were asian? never asked. (edit) I want to add the reception lady was extremely helpful when we spoke. However no staff acknowledged us while we waited.

  Looked for a quick overnight stop to break up the journey with the kids from the south west to North Wales. Found the holiday inn express roughly in the middle of the trip and reasonably priced with breakfast included. A few little issues with the room but nothing horrendous. Sink plug didn't work so water pooled in the sink and slowly drained away and the shower changed it's mind about the temperature more often than my kids deciding what to have for breakfast.

  Good place to stop over but beware of very warm rooms - no air con except in reception. Comfy beds, good sized rooms & quiet except for some early morning waste collections. Plenty of free car parking spaces. Breakfast - usual fayre.

  Spacious, spotless rooms and a great location with plenty of parking made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was English-style only. The bacon was consistently overcooked and dry, so improving this would make breakfast much better.
