  We stayed as a family with our 4-year-old child. The service and room conditions were completely unacceptable. Our first room had a foul smell, and the window right next to our daughter’s bed broke and wouldn't close. We were moved to a second room where the main lights didn't work properly and the child’s bed wasn’t even made - we had to make it ourselves. When we raised the lighting issue, the receptionist sarcastically suggested: "use the bathroom light instead or the bedside lamps." The pre-paid breakfast had only a standard cooked British option with zero alternatives; nothing suitable for a 4-year-old was offered, and the morning staff simply shrugged it off. Utter indifference towards guests.

  Room was ok. Staff very helpful. The only thing rubbish was the people in the above room we think 2 work men was like 2 baby hippos Really nosey told managers But won't be staying again. The room's are very Dated like walking back into the 1980's

  We liked the hotel. The room was clean and perfect for relaxing after a long journey. However, there were only two large towels for the four of us.

  Check in was nice and easy and it's easy to locate off the M5. It was a good start and I enjoyed the fact it had 24 hour reception etc. That was the main reason we booked and phone support had been really great. My biggest complaint was noise, we were put on the ground floor and everytime someone moved upstairs you could hear it very loudly. This woke up us up around 7am and then onwards constantly. Until checkout at 10am. Thankfully we'd booked a late checkout but the point for that was we didn't get to the room till early hours of the morning so wanted to sleep soundly. I tried to report this to the receptionist on the way out, but as you can see no one was there and there was no sign on how to get in contact with them. I did call out a few times but no one came. So I sent a follow up email and haven't recieved a response which has unfortunately left to this review being left. I would not stay here again based on the service and the fact we paid extra money for a good night's sleep and was left with quite the opposite.

  Stayed 8-10 September 2026, booked via Booking.com. Left a night early. No housekeeping at all during the stay. Excessive, disruptive noise from the room above for most of the night. Toiletry dispensers were empty and never refilled - we were left with a single roll of toilet paper for the whole stay. On top of that, an undisclosed parking charge, not shown anywhere at the time of booking, only surfaced at check-in, effectively forcing payment to avoid losing use of the car. Between all of this we cut the booking short by a night. Requesting a refund for the unused night and reimbursement of the undisclosed parking charge.
