Pros: decent size room and bathroom, well located (shops, food, gym etc within 10 mins walk)
Cons: room was too hot (lowest temperature of air con was 19C), standard wifi was terrible, no roll of toilet paper just individual sheets in a holder - not good enough for £150/night

We have stayed here many times before when visiting friends.
However it has been a while and on arrival noticed that the bar / pub that is attached to the hotel has been closed down. This now means that there is no where to get food or a drink at lunch time or at check in in the vicinity.
This also means that the breakfast is a bit of a bun fight and pretty unenjoyable, the 'restaurant' area is now very small and not big enough for all the rooms, plus the kitchen cannot keep up with demand. This means that the unlimited breakfast is severely limited due to the speed of the kitchen and queues that form to get to it's outputs.
Will consider staying somewhere else from now on.

We arrived at 4pm to check in and had to wait for several guests before it was our turn.
Our room faced the car park, but luckily the soundproofing was decent.
At night, though, we could hear someone upstairs constantly walking around.
The bathroom is a bit dirty. There was a long black hair on the bath towel, lots of dust on the floor, and mould on the walls.
The front desk staff recommended the dinner meal deal, it was a real bargain!
£16 for two courses, plus free drinks and a free kids’ meal!
However, we ordered at 6:40pm and didn’t get our food until 7:40pm.
I understand they were extremely busy at the time, the venue was packed, and the front staff had to cover both the lobby and restaurant, constantly rushing between the two. We felt they were working incredibly hard.

hotel is fine, its a premier inn. What I didn't like is registering for parking during my stay and receiving a parking fine and being told there is no evidence for my registration on the parking machine inside. Not sure what happened there but defeats the point of staying somewhere in my mind is supposed to be cheaper.

Of the usual standard you would expect from a premier inn. All good.
Check in was very poor. Rang the buzzer to disgruntled colleagues with a poor reception. Didn’t even tell us where our room was located after giving us the key card.
Keep the inter team bickers away from customers. Understandable and these things happen but don’t want to hear it after being in the road for hours.
All very frosty.
