Avoid this place if you value basic service. Stays over three nights get zero room cleaning, and if you ask for it, the staff just give excuses about being too busy. Even asking for extra cups or plates feels like a battle—the staff act highly reluctant and make you feel guilty for asking for standard amenities. Incredibly hostile hospitality.

I have to say that the premier plus rooms are excellent, they closed the old restaurant and converted to a more cosy eating establishment

Lovely place to stay on the outskirts of Glasgow. Me and the family have stayed multiple times over the years and usually always chose this Premier inn for its easy access from the motorway and local train to central for a day at the shops. Breakfast wasn't great but the restaurant has been refurbished since we last had it so might be better now.

Never stayed at this Premier inn before but we will be back. Great location for travelling to Northern areas of Scotland from the south or vice versa as just off M80, motorway linking M8/M74 with the A9. Loads of free parking. We ate at a restaurant a 5 minutes car journey away but got parked again on our return no issue. Staff were friendly, overworked like any other Premier inn, poor souls. Breakfast was good, great value, especially when travelling with kids. Kids were left thoughtful VIP gift bags in the room. Lovely touch which kids loved. Rooms were roasting as we travelled during heatwave but fans were provided. Room not too noisy overnight, thought it would be with M80 close by.

To be fair, I was somewhat dissapointed with our stay at Premier Inn Stepps. First was the temperature of the room - it was showing 28 degrees on the room thermostat. Then there was a tiny compact fan that just blew the hot air around.
Never mind, let's have a cup of tea... but no sugars in the tiny container so had to trape down to reception to collect some.
I have been using Premier Inn A lot but of late, have found cheaper with other similar brands and hey, they had air conditioned rooms... and plenty of tea and coffee materials in their rooms too.
So not the best sleep!
