Our Premier Inn Glasgow Pacific Quay (SECC) hotel is one of the best places to stay for events in Glasgow. The OVO Hydro arena and Scottish Events Campus – or SEC as it’s better known – are less than a 10-minute walk from our Glasgow SECC Premier Inn, perfect if you’re visiting for live performances or exhibitions. With Glasgow attractions like Kelvingrove Park, the Riverside Museum and the Glasgow Science Centre Tower nearby, make sure you save some time for sightseeing in Scotland. Our SECC hotel is great for stopovers too – Glasgow Airport is just a 15-minute drive away, and the Exhibition Centre train station is just across Bell’s Bridge. Wrap up your days out in Glasgow with a tasty meal back at our in-house Thyme restaurant before heading back to your room and super-comfy bed.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location right on the bay. Waking up to the waterfront views and having easy access to the scenic walking and cycling tracks made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s conveniently located just a short drive from Glasgow city centre, the vibrant West End, and Buchanan Street, where you’ll find excellent shopping, cafés, and a wide variety of great restaurants. The rooms were comfortable, the overall stay was relaxing, and the location makes it an ideal base for exploring Glasgow. I would happily stay here again.

Location is directly opposite The Hydro and SECC Armadillo . Have stayed here a few times , can’t fault , room is always clean , beds are comfy and the views are quite nice too . Really handy near to city centre , easy walking distance to taxis , or to get a taxi to hotel is simple enough . Prices have gone up a bit , that’s just inflation. The option to move dates for my stay were really good , I changed my date a few times and they’re pretty flexible . Only thing that may change is the season time as this will affect prices , something to bear in mind when changing date . Staff nice and helpful , self check in kiosks super handy for quicker check in .

We thought we knew what we are booking… we were in Glasgow for some events so we need clean room for two nights, just to be clear we didn't expected 5star neither we don’t like to complain because we both work in the industry but my god this was absolutely not what we had in mind. Checking in: No one at the small corner desk at where used to reception was I think because now, self in machines are taking all the space. Don’t get me wrong handy when it is busy but it will be still nice to have a human there, just in case. Room: Going to our room on the 2bd floor we couldn’t believe how dirty the corridor was but taking to the consideration that it was just afer 3pm and house keeping team could be a wee bit behind we entered our room. Very stuffy with just old dirt AC, no ability to open the window. After one night my throat was sore. The walls full of stains, lots of dust everywhere, floor not hoovered. Room was overall in general Primier inn style but it was absolutely lacking of care and cleanliness. Bathroom was sobpoorly cleaned with hair in the top of bathand mould on the sealer. To be clear we didn’t expected golden tabs but come on a basics would be nice. Bedding was stained but not dirty. We both thought they must of have had a bad day, short of staff. When we woke up we discovered that our duvet doesn’t have any protector and is stained with something yellow - assuming pee. We left the bed for house keeping to see and went about our day leaving please service my room card on the door. When we got back nothing was done, no one even checked our room. We left around 10am and got back around 6pm. After this we both had enough. My partner went downstairs and spoke to a person. The lady was nice but not very helpful. All she done was, she will get us complementary breakfast. She also asked if we would like our duvet the be changed, I think this is the minimum standard even of a just hotel… when we went for breakfast the next day, we weren’t even on the list. The corridor on our 2nd floor stayed like this for next two days. Lifts were also not cleaned and mirrors were looking if someone did them with eyes closed. Overall, my partner stayed here before and I don’t know if there is a new owner or you guys just got so used to easy money that you are forgetting about basic standards. It won’t take long and ppl will stop staying with you. It was truly my worst experience with Premier Inn and I would rather sleep in my car than stay with you again.

Good sized room. Window too small. Another hand towel would have been welcome but hot water and good sized bath towels. It was raining so we went for the meal deal, which was truly a deal. Great service in the restaurant unlike the automated check in. Well placed for SECC and the science centre.

Stayed here for concert at Bellahouston Park. Typical Premier Inn double room with a full cooked or continental breakfast. Parking was £11.20 for 24 hrs as a guest, payable through Just Park or Horizon. Plenty of spaces with CCTV. Suitable accommodation any visit to the city, especially OVO, SECC, Science Centre etc.
