  Honestly, I don’t know where to start! Coming from a hospitality background myself, I normally let a lot slide - but this? No, not acceptable. Checking in, there were two young girls who were more interested in hugging one another and complimenting the appearance of each other, one even laughing at her partner dropping her off as he was driving around the car park with the passenger door open. Then I’ve been given a room, which apparently maintenance had repaired, I walked in and laughed! The chair was facing the window full of disabled access use hoists and the curtain rail and curtain lying crumpled on the floor. Heading back to reception to report this both girls laughed and the one said, “oh I’ll just pop it back up, it comes down all the time.” I explained it (the rail) was physically off the wall & I wouldn’t be comfortable staying there. Fine, fair enough. Room changed. I head upstairs to the next room, are housekeeping even present here?! The floors are filthy! Bits everywhere… the railings along the stairs black with grime & dirt, the stairs are covered in confetti type rubbish too. Trying to see past this, I’ve gone down to ‘The Social’ thinking I’ll have some dinner as it’s been a long day working, the lights are on & doors are locked. A bit strange for 5:30pm, given I was told it was open… Head back to reception in hope of speaking to someone to find out what’s local in the area to get some dinner, stood for 5+ minutes and low & behold, no member of staff about. Honestly, while I do appreciate the stuff that goes on behind the scenes in hospitality this is nothing short of diabolical! Had my office and booking team not have finished for the day, I’d have called requesting a new hotel as this is shocking.

  Very Disappointing Stay I have stayed at Premier Inn hotels before and have generally found them to be good quality, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. The room was not up to an acceptable standard of cleanliness. There was a lot of dust in the room, the carpet was not properly cleaned, and the curtains were also covered in dust. I have photos showing the condition of the room. There was also a problem with the extractor fan in the bathroom/toilet, which was not working. I reported this issue twice to the staff and was told that it would be checked, but after that I received no response and the problem was not resolved during my stay. For a hotel brand like Premier Inn, I expected the room to be clean, properly maintained and any reported issues to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The biggest disappointment was not only the condition of the room, but also the lack of follow-up after I reported the problems. I have photos as evidence of the cleanliness issues. I hope Premier Inn takes this feedback seriously and improves its cleaning, maintenance and customer service, because this stay was far below the standard I expected.

  Fantastic service from start to finish from Jenna and Karen, Food was super nothing was a problem and a bit of banter along the way a credit to the Premier inn ,these two along with the chef deserve a pay rise .

  Unfortunately wasnt a great experience. Rooms are still the old style premier inn room but comfortable you know what your getting. Unfortunately I was told there was no poached eggs for breakfast because they had no pan (I suspect they had no time to do it). The breakfast buffet also wasnt out at 6:30am which is what I was told to book as they were very busy. Not really much around to grab breakfast in the area so had to drive to somewhere. All in all at the high cost to now stop at Premier Inns very disappointing.

  Big shout out to Kaitlyn on the front desk. I arrived at the front door at 1.30am of her fully booked hotel. I had been let down on arrival at 1am by a double booking at another private hotel 15 miles away Kaitlyn opened up, welcomed me in and then helped me get a room in another Premier Inn. She checked her online platform for nearby Premier Inns and because it was technically the next day she rang and made arrangements for a room in advance of me arriving at the next Premier Inn Great & friendly service 👌 Thank you
