There's nothing premier about this inn, certainly based on my experience of room 20. Despite smoking in hotel rooms in Scotland having been illegal now for around two decades, this room reeked of cigarette smoke. This suggests to me that the fire detection systems don't work. I asked at reception for another room because the smell was dreadful, but none were available, despite the car park being fairly sparsely occupied. The room is desperately in need of upgrading. There is no working extractor fan in the bathroom, leading to rust (even on the door hinges), peeling paint, and mildew. The radiator, when switched on, makes a loud ticking sound every 3 seconds. The skirting boards in the bathroom were manky. The shower drips loudly for around five minutes after turning it off.
I don't expect The Ritz, but this was nowhere near what by any stretch of the imagination could be described as "Premier" and Trading Standards should, I think, force them to remove that word from all signage... particularly the one next to the three feet wide by eight inch deep pothole on the exit from the car park.

Hotel is dated, but still clean. Was all i needed.
I checked in late, left eairly, no complaints.
My key didn't work the first time but the guy on the desk sorted it quickly. He was polite despite it being midnight!
Did not get breakfast so can't comment on that.

Avoid this premiere inn!
Absolutely disgusting, room was filthy with mold on nets, manky curtains, hair in bathroom sink, dirty walls, cob webs, green gunk on window, dust on the lamps near bed, carpet manky, rust on bathroom mirror and so on! Also walls are paper thin and sound like a heard of elephants walking about and a clicking sound in room wich i presume it was the heater that was also broken so had no sleep. Left a night earlier and missed out on the money we paid. Wouldn't book unless your absolutely desperate.
