We have stayed here a number of times and it is what you would expect from a Premier Inn but we usually stay due to the great location. Unfortunately, in the last 3 years it has become extremely rough around St Enoch square and therefore it is now just another Premier Inn in a bad location.

Stayed for one night. Room was a standard/average premier inn room. Comfy bed as usual and room was nothing special. You know what you’re getting with a premier inn hotel value for money and nothing luxurious. Location was great and staff were extremely helpful as I left my bank card in the room and I only noticed after I checked out and they helped right away and got my bank card back to me. I would absolutely stay again.

The rooms are great. The staff are friendly on both hotel and restaurant. So book your breakfast in advance to get times as it gets busy. I dropped a star because two out of three lifts were not working (it was one out of three when we arrived). We couldn't get in one as the doors got stuck. Lucky us turns out there were people in it stuck. Staff reacted well and closed it off but it was still out of service when we left.

On the positive side, the rooms were comfortable and the meals that we had were good. However, poor service on the last day of our visit spoiled the experience. We were a party of four staying for three nights, and we had booked the Meal Deal throughout. On the morning of our final full day we spoke to the receptionist to book a table for dinner at 8pm. When we arrived in the restaurant at 8pm the restaurant manager told us that he could not seat us because a large group of people was about to come in. When we pointed out that we had booked in the morning, he kept repeating that he could not seat us. He did not apologise and we found his manner quite rude. We then spoke to a member of staff on reception who apologised that they could not provide the Meal Deal that we had paid for, and offered us a refund for the evening meal and a complimentary breakfast. As we had already paid for the Meal Deal, he agreed to refund the cost of this for one day for all four of us. Nearly two weeks later, we have not received the refund. We have generally had very good experiences at Premier Inn, but we would not return to this one. Visitors should be aware that if they happen to be staying at the same time as a large group, they may not be able to have an evening meal even if they have paid for one in advance.

Rooms lovely and comfortable, lift situation a joke. Three lifts, two out of order, we were on the sixth floor so spent a good 30 minutes in total waiting for the lift. Breakfast OK, good luck trying to find any plates, takes an age for food to be replenished.
