We booked this hotel specifically because the rooms were listed as air conditioned. On a hot day, we arrived to find our room muggy and stifling. I switched on the AC, but the airflow was barely noticeable.
After waiting nearly an hour, I went to reception. They said they would "reset something from the control room" and asked us to wait 20 minutes. Thirty minutes passed and nothing changed. I went back down and received the exact same response.
On the third attempt, a member of staff came to our room and theatrically adjusted the AC controller, making the same changes I had already tried. When he claimed he had fixed it, I pointed out that the output had not changed at all. He then offered us a fan, which he left without checking. It didn't work either.
Back downstairs again, we were finally offered a new room but told we had to pack up all our belongings, take them down nine floors, collect new keys from reception, and then make our way back up. Travelling with a toddler, a pram, and suitcases, I asked why we couldn't simply be given keys to go directly to the new room. After the ordeal we had already been put through, it was the least they could do.
The new room had a functioning AC, but the walls and ceiling were visibly stained and the room looked thoroughly neglected.
This was an exhausting and deeply disappointing experience. Poor maintenance, dismissive staff, and not a single moment where the hotel tried to make things right.

Perfect location. Next to Buchanan galleries and four minutes to Buchanan bus station. The room was large and spacious, very clean also. The bed was super comfy. Slept like a log.

Excellent city centre hotel. We had a room on the 17th floor with a fabulous view of the city. Only downside was a couple of staff who preferred to chat amongst themselves rather than serve you. Very annoying. Would still use again.

This was the third Premier I have stayed in during my 5 week tour of Scotland. This time I had a Premier Plus room which had the best bed, so comfortable, the room was very clean although the carpet was marked, there was some small cuts in the leather headboard, and the woodwork was chipped here and there but this did not affect my satisfaction with the room. The shower was amazing, lovely hot water and really great water pressure.
Breakfast was included in my room rate and although I opted just for the continental there was a good selection of cooked items. I was able to get gluten free toast. Dinner was a bit limited for coeliacs but what I had was delicious. Location was brilliant with a very short walk to both train and bus stations with plenty of choice for shoppers. The view from my room was straight down West Nile Pedestrian only area so there was always something to watch from a perfectly placed easy chair and footstool. The staff were very hospitable and happy to help out. Great bar for a well earned drink after a day of sightseeing.
