Great location for bus station, not far from train stations either. Central for shopping, theatre etc. Friendly staff, well equipped comfortable rooms

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Glasgow City Centre Theatreland for one night while attending the Metallica concert, and everything was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and professional from check-in to check-out. The night staff were also very welcoming and helpful, which we really appreciated. Housekeeping did a great job, our room was clean, comfortable, and well prepared, and the corridors were also very clean and tidy.
Breakfast was good, fresh, and nicely presented, with everything kept clean and well organised. The hotel location is very convenient, close to the city centre and only about a 10-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station.
Overall, a very pleasant stay with great service, cleanliness, and location. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel. Very friendly and chatty staff. Always there to help you. Breakfast is delicious, with plenty of options to eat.
We stayed here for one night while visiting. We came in via a train and as it was only 10 minutes walk from the Queen street station and central to our plans, it was a perfect location for us.
First and foremost, the staff were friendly. This unfortunately was the only positive experience (oh yeah, free breakfast).
Had few issues while staying here.
Elevator - only one was working during our stay and it's very small, can only fit 3 or 4 adults at a time.
Luggage Storage area - as it's do-it-yourself, it was a mess in the room, a better system needs to be in place to ensure spaces are utilized efficiently.
Room - had double bed and a sofa bed. They need to move the sofa bed so it's by the window. When you expand the sofa bed, it leaves you like 2 inch gap between the bed and the desk to use to access the bathroom.
Hotel WIFI - talk about super slow wifi system... never been to a hotel where their wifi was slower than walking. I don't know if they are using dial-up modems, but they need to get this fixed.
