Told at check in (after check in time) to take a seat as receptionist would check if the room was ready and come and get us.
45 minutes later he didn’t bother to come and tell us. Presumably would still be sat there now had I not had to go back and queue again.
Otherwise room was decent and clean. Service really did let it down.
I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow last week. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming and well run, with excellent facilities and a very pleasant atmosphere throughout.
A particular mention must go to Euan on the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. He went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of and made a great first impression. He also commended my status as a platinum elite member by giving me an upgrade which is subject to availability.
I would also like to commend Robyn in the Lounge, who provided outstanding service. She was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, making the time spent in the Lounge particularly enjoyable. Everyone in the lounge enjoyed her banter and she made us all feel so welcome
Both Euan and Robyn are a real credit to the Crowne Plaza and demonstrate the level of customer service that makes a hotel stay memorable. I would also add that all of the staff were brilliant and they always are. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and will certainly look forward to staying again.

Great hotel very friendly staff especially Jamie in reception and Robyn in the lounge who were both extremely helpful and welcoming and made our stay very pleasant
Nice hotel, maybe starting to showing it's getting towards 40. Room was nice, nice thick curtains block out any early sunlight. Yes sun does shine in Glasgow, sometimes. Mattress was nice and firm, slept well. Had little fridge in room. With all the light and lamps on feel room is still dark. As others have mentioned air con was loud. Had to turn it off to sleep. Some maintenance was needed in the Bathroom, reported it so hopefully that will get fixed. Staff friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was perfectly fine. It's a 10 - 15min walk to get to a shop (Lidl, Sainsbury's local or McD's)i or for a snack or drink. Lifts were all working. Hotel has 16 floors I think so great views.
