  Check in was super easy. Was able to get two key cards. We used the self check-in. We booked a family room with added breakfast. Once we got to our room, was greatly disappointed how small our room was, 3beds was to much for this room and in past primer inn we’ve had bigger spaces. The carpet was very worn down and coming away from the door grips. The sink plug was stuck, which we did report but no maintenance was available. We was offered a room change but the bed would have been much lower. But I mange to fix the plug myself, and lastly our room was far to hot that we had to open our door every so often. This resulted in a terrible nights sleep. The air con was faulty but due to no maintenance was pointless reporting. The bed was comfortable and the shower was pleasant to use. The breakfast wasn’t great. Scrambled eggs were awful and fruit is just frozen fruit so wasn’t fresh. Pancakes were stale. And the coffee was meh! But the sausages and juice were stunning. Also I cut my lip on the glass that had my juice. There was small clip on the glass, just glad this was my child. Over all we’ve had better stays on other primer inns so found this disappointment

  The worst experience you will ever have . Staff is very rude and will book your room if you are late . I arrived at midnight my reservations were made and they rented my room and gave me a smaller room after making me wait for them to clean it . If the room is paid for and the customer don’t show up you should leave it empty since it’s already paid for not double rent the room. Not sure if that is even legal . Stay away

  Reasonable priced breakfast ok rooms are great for a couple of knights will use thus hotel again

  Close to city center everything was walking distance. Staff were friendly and the breakfast in the morning was superb!Rooms were clean and tidy and overall a very enjoyable experience!

  *35 years of hotel stays and my first ever online review* Stayed here last night for work. First room I was booked into (237) genuinely smelt like a pub from the 90s. It had been smoked in so much, to the point I had to call my work colleague up to make sure I wasn't exaggerating. He walked in the room and literally started coughing!! After speaking to reception I was moved to room 703. DO NOT STAY IN THIS ROOM!! As soon as I laid down to sleep, it felt as if the whole room was vibrating or shaking, like somebody was moving heavy furniture in the adjacent room to the head of the bed. After getting absolutely zero sleep and leaving the hotel for work, I looked up from the outside of the hotel. This is when I saw a giant Premier Inn sign attached to the outside wall that the bed butts up to, literally flapping about in the wind and bashing against the wall of the bedroom. I cannot stress enough how much I would advise people to avoid this hotel. Thoroughly disappointed, as Premier Inns are usually fairly reliable. Tom Cunningham
