  Fantastic hotel in a great location! There is a walking path with a beautiful view of the river just behind the hotel, if you follow the path right you pop out by some shoppes. ASDA, The Range and Aldi to name a few. A KFC for quick bites and The Skiff Inn, a Must Try pub restaurant! The rooms and common areas were very clean, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was hot and well stocked with plenty of options. We will definitely be back!

  1st time visiting Newcastle and WOW I did not want to come back home to Kent. Purely because of the wonderful staff here at Holiday Inn. Everyone from the lovely reception staff to the housekeeping, truly made our stay so welcoming and warming. The location is perfect for anyone visiting by car or foot and the Metrocentre was about 15 minute walk away ( if you go the back way). The breakfast ( A perk you rarely see free) was fresh and constantly topped up, very clean and impressive. I even miss the smell of bacon in the morning ! The room was perfect and could not one a single fault. The tv had loads of channels and youtube so we could relax in the evenings. (Most hotels limit the channels. Tip- scroll past the radio channels- keep going and you will find loads of streaming channels) We will be visiting again and It is purely based on how at home we felt here. I recommend this Holiday Inn from the bottom of my heart- you will visit as a stranger but will be leaving as a valued customer. We stayed in room 109 and it was perfect.

  Clean, welcoming, good breakfast. All the staff were welcoming and friendly especially Adam. Our dog was very welcome and treated as a paying guest. Would definitely recommend.
