- JJJamesMay 18, 20262.0I hate giving bad reviews, but this hotel seemed under staffed when we arrived. The cleanliness of the toilets in our rooms was not up to the usual standard as a result and one of the overhead lights kept switching on and off in one of our rooms. The rooms are the old style Premier Inn rooms and could do with an upgrade too.

Couldn’t open the window in the bedroom to help the situation so didn’t spend much time there other than to sleep and fan in bathroom didnt seem to be doing much. Felt like the room needed an overhaul or deep clean. Restaurant was good for breakfast. Table service where you order what you want.
- SDSean DoyleMay 4, 20264.0The rooms were OK but there were tell tale signs of wear and tear in the walls and ceiling. Everything was hygienic and clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast waiter was very quick and managed everyone's orders by himself although I thought he should have had a colleague so he wasn't running around all of the time. The cooking wasn't too good. Poached eggs slightly under done and flat, cooked with no vinegar in the water. Vegan options were there but only from one brand who's vegan bacon is not the best. A portion of mushrooms is a solitary mushroom on the plate which didn't look fresh so it was avoided. The location is central but still a good ten minute walk from anywhere.
- MPMark PoleyApr 29, 20264.0Good Premier Inn. Convenient free parking for residents. Friendly reception staff. Nice room and ensuite, well maintained and a really comfy bed. It was just what we wanted. The restaurant was better than expected. It was previously a Beefeater restaurant open to the public, but is now just for residents of the Premier Inn. There was a special offer for evening meal and breakfast which was excellent value and good food. The Steak was great, and the breakfast was cooked to order - whatever you want to choose. And so much better than self service from a precooked buffet. All good 😎👍👍👍👍
