Recently stayed at the hotel as was going to my brothers funeral. All the staff were incredibly friendly and imparticularly Emma at reception who was compassionate and warm and showed great kindness. Such a hard time and made it a little more bearable xxxxx

Currently staying away with work.
Room is very spacious, not the comfiest bed in the world but can get a decent few hours sleep. Fans good to cool room down but still 22.5 degrees so a tad warm.
Restaurant-
Food very good, drinks not so good. £3.50 for a can of irn bru is nothing short of scandalous. There is no way of justifying this price.
Staff- very friendly and will do anything to help.

Half of the lights did not work and when it was bright enough to see the whole room the next day, it was very dirty. The walls and doors were visibly dirty, and there were cobwebs in one corner of the room. Thankfully I had only booked one night.

So I’d say good but not great.
Positives: nice sized rooms, really helpful and polite staff. Very comfy bed. Good check out times, really enjoyed breakfast (although please learn how to fry an egg!). Really good location and lovely garden centre next door that I would strongly encourage people to wander round!
Negatives which reduce the score given: very warm rooms despite outside temperature being under 20. Having the window open did nothing for this. Fans (too noisy to have on at night) were provided though. No plugs near to beds - upgrades to provide usb charging would help improve the customer experience I think. We did also note dead wasps in the bathroom light fightings above the sink! These didn’t detract from the decent stay though.
It just felt a bit dated and like it could do with a bit of a pick me up, kind of lacking the premier element - so it was ok, and adequate but could be a little bit nicer!

Great stay met Cody who was helpful all the time after our disappointing arrival at Motherwell Glasgow. Also good food, there was a mix up and delay with our meal and as an apology ( not that we complained) they offered a discount.
I would stay there again, thanks to Cody and the rest of fhe team once again.
