  Good location. Asda opposite with petrol station and a McDonald’s. Rooms were very clean and up to date.

  I stayed in a Premier plus room for 4 nights ,it was immaculately clean, comfortable and good facilities, the receptionist Gabbie was very knowledgeable and helpful in every aspect, very smiley too which is very nice to see ,will definitely stay again

  The part of the building we stayed at was only opened 4 months ago so the place looked and smelt clean and fresh. The premier plus room we stayed in are very spacious, however we felt that the room could do with some draw space for clothes. Other than that the bed was very comfortable, the rain shower excellent and the air con a bonus in the hot weather. The tv volume preset for 25 max is to low and needs the volume increasing, with obvious respect to other guests at the hotel. Breakfast meals are very good with well cooked breakfasts and a good range of cereals fresh fruit etc and the necessary morning coffee. Tammy the lady on each morning we were there was very helpful and highly professional. Evening meals ranged from average on the first night to very good the second night. I did notice that on both nights one chef only was preparing the meals which often led to delays in obtaining your meal. The restaurant area which is a new concept for premier inns is quite small for the amount of rooms onsite so I would worry about queues for food in busy periods. Overall enjoyed our stay, all staff were available for any queries so no complaints there. Plenty of parking spaces outside, however the garden area outside the new building needs some bushes, plants etc as it does not look good as a weed patch which it currently is. Lastly the value for money for our two night stay with the meal deal of breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and would definitely take out this option again.

  The room refresh sign was ignored 3 mornings in a row, even after requests to have the bathroom cleaned. Housing-keeping was abysmal. Some of the reception staff were not suited to their role as interface with the public. The evening food was very poor. Breakfast was fine, even freshly cooked for me on Friday morning. I would not recommend using this Premier Inn to anyone needing more than a one night stay.

  The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and maintained. Unfortunately, the room was far too warm. Opening the windows didn’t make much difference, and there was no central air conditioning. A fan was provided, but it wasn’t effective enough to cool the room down. There is ample car parking, which is very convenient. McDonald’s and an Asda Express with a fuel station are just across the road, making it easy to grab food, drinks or essentials. The garden area could do with some attention, as it currently doesn’t look very appealing and could be much better maintained. Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly service, clean facilities and a convenient location, but improved room cooling and some care for the garden would make a big difference.
