Was a pleasant stay here. Everything you need for a nice night. Location great, right next to the lanes and a short walk from the train station. Have to use your room card to access the corridors and the lift which brings a certain kind of security. Room tidy. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with fried breakfast, cereal, fruits, yoghurt, toast, pancakes, teas and coffees. Well worth paying the extra to have breakfast here. Breakfast was 7.30am-10am I believe. Price for one night was very reasonable for a friday night. Would visit again and would recommend.

Stayed in 209 which was so nice and clean. Everything was ready for me when I checked in. The receptionist Ali was so welcoming and made the journey to hotel more worth it. The location is perfect since it's right next to the main shopping area and close to the beach. I was served at the bar by Kajal who was lovely to talk to and guided me to the nearest shopping centre with ease.

Thank you, GENO, and the rest of the crew! 💥✨ I’ve been staying at BRIGHTON’s PREMIER INN since Saturday and will be checking out later this week, but I couldn’t wait until then to commend the excellent service I’ve received so far. The team helped me with my luggage, has continually engaged in polite and friendly conversation, and has maintained a professional approach throughout. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism have made my stay enjoyable and comfortable. Thank you all for making guests feel welcome. Much appreciated! 🙏🏾✨🌟

⚠️Significant Safety and Hygiene Concerns – Do Not Recommend My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing &, more importantly, fell far below acceptable safety and hygiene standards. I am documenting these issues here publicly as the hotel management declined to provide any resolution. Safety Hazards: There was a portable heater in a public corridor with the casing missing, leaving live electrical components completely exposed and accessible to guests. Inside my room, there was a broken, sharp window ledge that posed a physical danger. The room was not properly cleaned prior to my arrival, evidenced by deep-set, permanent stains on the headboard & a damp, used towel left in the wardrobe. Layer of dust on work area & on kettle, we cleaned with wipes, turned on the heating system & it blew out more dust causing the work area to be dusty again Communal areas, specifically the stairs & windows showed a heavy accumulation of dirt. My room was fitted with a commercial-style,single sheet paper dispenser instead of standard toilet rolls, who does this! Food: pizza that tasted of plastic, literally. The place is shockingly filthy, not something that happened overnight, this is an accumulation of months. Despite providing photographic evidence of these systemic failures to management, they refused any redress, citing a policy that issues must be reported at the time. I did not feel comfortable or confident that these deep-rooted maintenance and safety issues could be resolved by staff during my short stay. I have uploaded photographic evidence of these conditions alongside this review for clarity. Potential guests should be aware of these serious maintenance and safety oversights before booking.

We were met at hotel entrance by a "bouncer" so not a good look. The entrance and stairs to reception has the appearance and smell of a council block of flats so not encouraging start to stay. Found reception unattended so rang bell , nothing so proceeded to try self check in . Not clear instructions but eventually confirmed our room but then tried to electronically register our card door key .'the computer says no' . This went on until a hotel member turned up to help. Registered our car for the cheaper parking offered in a car park 10 mins from hotel. Eventually found our room as signage quite bad , got lost several times during stay trying to find reception exit. Room adequate but very warm, windows open an inch and controls to rectify for warmer/cooler took 10 mins to adjust as instructions just a photo of electronic thermostat. Got cooling fan on that was quite loud and gurgling for some reason. View out of room just bins and rubbish for hotel and adjacent businesses with a lovely aroma of rubbish . Returned from evening out settled for bed turning off fan at 1am too loud to sleep through. My wife got 4 hours sleep too warm , I got about the same as got awoken at 5.10 by clattering from the bins below. Looked out and saw 3 staff arriving putting whatever into bins then entering hotel through the back . Bin lorries arrived 5.30 further 20 mins noise (unlucky to get bin day!) 6.00 laundry lorry arrived so another 30 mins clattering/banging . Had already paid for breakfast so we went down my wife self served small cooked breakfast, didn't get for myself as it seemed cold to me . My wife left her food after a mouthful as it was cold . Just had a Luke warm coffee from machine myself as the filthy entrance made me think if this is how they clean then can't imagine the kitchen, plus the staff coming in through the bins entrance. Very disappointed with stay, obviously short staffed plus when we paid for our car at car park did not get discount advertised by hotel. Worst premier inn ever plus we had to share a bath towel as only 1 in room and only 1 coffee each for whole stay in room as not enough complimentary sachets/ milk. Definitely not frequented by Sir Lenny Henry
