The restaurant in this hotel is brilliant the breakfast is always really fresh and hot and kept so clean, what makes it worth coming is Nicola and Angela, they are the kindest funniest most welcoming women that work there, they keep that hotel running I’m sure whenever they are there everything runs so smoothly! We look forward to seeing them every time we go. Thank you to you both for always making our experience the best.

No Aircon in rooms, so it's like staying in Dante's inferno. Lots of small bugs in the room at the windows and wall/ceiling. Friends in another room reported the same thing. They did offer to switch us, but it was 11pm, we'd already unpacked and could be bothered with the hassle. staff were all nice, just the hotel is not of good quality.

Two nights at the Premier Inn and I felt like family
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The only issue is that they do lot have any king sized beds. As a tall gentleman, this would make the stay just that much better.
The staff are all professional, friendly and courteous. On arrival, I was greeted by Nicola, who went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She is the person you want to meet when you walk in.
I highly recommend this hotel

Warning to POC and especially those with disabilities!
I am writing this specifically for POC guests and especially those with autism/disabilities. My experience here was so distressing that the physical toll of the interaction resulted in me going to the ED after my blood pressure and heart rate went through the roof. The irony is that I was staying at the hotel for respite due to my neurological conditions.
The Incident
Despite having booking issues caused by the hotel’s own system, I was met with extreme hostility by a receptionist. After loudly knocking 9 times and attempting to enter my room, she demanded to know why I was late in checking out before pressuring me to leave by falsely claiming the hotel was fully booked (I showed her live availability on the website, which she ignored).
Discriminatory Behavior & Mockery
I explained that I was trying to extend my booking but their system was not allowing it. Her continued hostility and repeatedly mentioning “checking out” made me realise that she wasn’t interested and merely wanted me to leave. When I explained that I have a neurological condition affecting my blood pressure and needed a few extra minutes to stabilise then pack and leave, she mocked my disability by making a fainting gesture and sarcastically saying, "Ohhh me too, I have high blood pressure."
As a Black guest, the interaction and the ease with which my condition was mocked felt deeply racialised and dehumanising. The staff member involved was a middle-aged Eastern European woman.
When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it telling me not to worry about it and actively tried to hide her name badge.
Management Response
Guest Relations was dismissive. Their response was a "sorry that happened" followed by victim-blaming. They focused on refusing a refund (which I never even asked for) instead of addressing the blatant misconduct displayed by their staff.
The Only Positive
If I could give it zero stars, I would but the 2 stars are exclusively for the housekeeping staff. They were kind, understanding, and helpful with the extra bedding I required for temperature regulation. It is a shame the front desk does not share their humanity.
Bottom line: If you are a person of color or especially have a disability, be aware that you will likely not be treated with basic respect at this hotel.
