We stayed here to visit family nearby and did wonder if the hotel would be a bit basic given it’s likely often just a quick stopover for people before or after flights - however, it was excellent! Super friendly, polite and professional staff throughout, lovely spacious lounge / bar area and great breakfast! Our room was perfect - well designed with all we could need, cosy beds, great air con, fast WiFi and quiet. The on site parking and close proximity to M&S / Starbucks was a total bonus. We truly loved our stay - thank you!!
Good value neat and comfortable hotel for a nights sleep before an early flight.
Grab a dedicated £4 shuttle from the bus rank to the hotel, plus these run every 30min all night and early morning so you can grab it for a flight. Had a really good stir fry in the restaurant and there are snack options plus vending for amenities. Bathroom is basic but functional and showers are great. Arrived in a 35C heatwave and rooms were comfortably cool at 20C!

It was ok for 1 night, but could be better. Pros: easy transfer from Stansted airport for GBP 4 pounds (approx USD $5.35). It’s BAY 19. The breakfast starts at 4AM and hot foods start at 6AM-10AM. It’s a buffet. Eat as much as you want and they even had a powered Nutella dispenser. Staff was very courteous. The room had a kettle and tea/coffee. I booked via Agoda and they had my reservation, which the staff confirmed. They also gave me instructions on how to arrive from Heathrow. (Elizabeth metro to Liverpool station and then take the regional train to Stansted).
Cons: the actual bed was old, saggy, worn out, hard. Pillows were hard. The toilet barely flushed. The area itself is wildly lacking anything and you’re pretty much stuck eating at the hotel or a McDonald’s.

On the 30 th of May I asked them to prolongate my staying from the 31 th of May till the 2nd of June. I asked them:" How much I have to pay for the same room (where I was staying at that moment) if I want to prolongate my staying there till the 2nd of June?" The administrator on reception told me 218 GBP. I paid that amount immediately. On the 2nd of June I saw on mine bank transactions report, that the hotel trying to charge me 25.90 GBP. I went to them and asked: why they trying to get my money from my bank account? They replied me that I have to pay my balance for the room, as the room became more expensive, than I paid for it on the 30 th of May. I was shocked, that they changed the price for my room without informing me and I don't understand how it's possible that they told me and charged me one price on the 30 th of May and after demanded to pay more. Also I am shocked that they tried to charge me extra in hidden way: trying to get extra money from my bank account without informing me and without asking my permission.😬they didn't apologise, just was saying that I have to close my balance. So I paid these extra 25.90 GBP to close THEIR balance.
About location. It's just 1.2 miles from the airport, but there is no road for walking. You can get to the airport or to the train or to the bus only by shuttle, which cost 4 GBP one way.
