  Sad booked early only to be told no kitchen when I get there for a 5 day trip with my disabled wife so wasn't best pleased no notice or nothing to tell me there was no kitchen so I had to walk 10 minutes to a Cafe as was not informed about no kitchen so my my trip worse as we had to eat out every morning for hot breakfast jokers just take your money I got a refund for me breakfast but that isn't the POINT I BOOKED SO I WOULDNT HAVE TO DRAG ME DISABLED WIFE OUT FOR BREAKFAST NO COMPENSATION SHOULD HAVE SET UP A COUNT FOR THE CAFE AND WE EAT FREE 😅 🙂 🙃

  Great Location for visiting southend .watch the fireworks out of window ..straight on to promenade with flat walk either direction Girls on reception very welcoming and helpful, especially Ada who was all smiles at 9.00pm and again at 7.00 am ! All team helpful with what food and beverages that were freely available to due restaurant refit

  Great stay overnight, only tge restaurant was not open due to renovation and car parking was unavailable, luckily there was a good pub just up the seafront. Location was further out from the main attractions and shops, but gave for a good walk

  Extremely disappointing stay – room not properly checked ⭐ My Experience I am extremely disappointed with my stay. If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid £137 for a sea-view room and expected a clean, comfortable and properly maintained room. Instead, I found a clogged bathroom sink, discoloured water, a loose/unscrewed toilet flush fitting, and visible dirt and staining. I have attached photographs showing the condition. I reported the problems to reception and asked to be moved to another room, but I was told the hotel was fully booked. I appreciate the reception staff for dealing with my concerns, but my main issue is that these problems should have been discovered during a proper room inspection before the room was given to a guest. This was supposed to be a birthday getaway, but instead I have been left extremely upset and disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for around eight years, which makes this experience even more frustrating. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard. I have requested a full refund and hope the hotel takes this complaint seriously. Very disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion.

  I walked in, a mess yesterday, I have bad anxiety and mental health issues. I had ran out of battery and I was lost. I was trying every other shop along the sea front for help, no one would help me or let me charge my phone. I walked into this hotel there were 2 mean working they calmed me down, got me a charger got me a taxi after everyone else had said no. So Thank you to the staff at this hotel for helping me.
