- FFFran4 days ago1.0Have been trying to get through to the reception team all morning, first you get an AI bot, then it transfers to reception and then cuts you off after a minute and tells you to try again later. Really not good enough.
- SPSarinya ParkhurstOct 5, 20264.0The hotel looks dated outside but reception area is new with check-in kiosks. However the receptionist was free so she helped me check in. Kind and friendly lady. Was given room 21 which was suitable for people in wheelchairs. But never mind, I booked it last min to drop my kid to uni, so it’s only a short stay. Toilet smelt strongly of the drain but kept the bathroom door shut and it’s ok. Even though the bed was low, I slept well with great mattress, nice bedding and thick duvet. I must praise the housekeepers, the room was spotless clean, everything was shiny and that impressed me. Newly breakfast restaurant, everything looked brand new. Staff were polite and friendly. Had lovely breakfast. Free parking, wouldn’t mind staying here again as the other premier inn in Colchester town parking is chargeable.
- ANAndrew NellOct 2, 20265.0The Premier Inn Colchester A12 is a good value hotel. The room was large and spacious with a very comfortable king size bed a comfortable smaller bed. The room was immaculate and clean. The bathroom and shower were excellent and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful there is a large free car park and a pub next door.
- CWChris WibberleySep 15, 20263.0Not pleased that the pub/ restaurant has closed.
- CMCharlotte MckennaSep 11, 20265.0Stayed a few times as good location. Not a fan of the self check in. Still prefer the human presence. No air conditioning in this hotel but fan was provided. Room had the worst squeaky floor / bed but not the worst issue in the world.
