  Good location - but two problems. Firstly my room smelled like sewage, emanating from the bathroom. I had to keep the bathroom light on to enable the fan to keep running so the smell wouldn't accumulate. Secondly, the male staff member who checked me in refused to give me a spare room key, stating this was for 'security' - I've never experieced this anywhere in the world and I suspect he actually did this to gatekeep me from having any visitors. I felt like he kept watch over me whilst I was staying in the hotel, leaping outside to monitor me whilst pretending to take a cigarette break. I felt like I was being watched the whole time, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

  I have been trying to get receipt of my stay more than months, is this that hard to send it via mail!

  Visited here, and when i ordered my meal they had no prawns for the linguine instead the put in a grilled chicken. All i can say it thank you whomever thought of this, liked it so much i order it where i can. Great staff, great hotel.

  If I could give this premier in 0 stars I would! I needed up checking out a day early due to not trusting I was safe here and would rather do a 4 hour trip home and 4 hour trip back to work the next day than stop! I have escalated this to guest services at the start of the month and response was they would investigate and get back to me, I have since sent 2 more emails to be ignored! Car park wasn’t big enough for how many rooms so not only did I end up paying for a weeks parking with the premier inn (I wasn’t informed not to) I had to spend money parking at the train station, they tried to give me cold raw chicken twice and the male waiter was extreamly rude! I stayed in a premier plus room and the air con didn’t work on the hottest week of the year! I wasn’t going to write a review I thought we could deal with this in private but as they have chosen to ignore all chances they obviously cared asmuch as the hotel staff did! Stay away there are much better places close by that has better parking and won’t try to give you food poisoning or attitude in the restaurant!

  I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn twice now. On both occasions, parking was easy, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. The housekeeping team clearly do a great job, and I’ve always found the rooms comfortable. The only downside on both visits was the same lady on reception. Unfortunately, she came across as quite unwelcoming. During our first stay, when we arrived to check in, she didn’t acknowledge us when we walked up to the desk. She kept her head down looking at the computer, so we had to say, “Hello, can we check in please?” before the conversation started. Throughout the check-in, she asked for our details but never looked up from the computer once, which made the interaction feel quite awkward . On our second stay, I again noticed her attitude. While we were in reception, she was speaking to delivery drivers in what sounded like an annoyed, raised voice. I’ve stayed at other Premier Inns where reception staff greet guests much more warmly.
