Best Holiday Inn I've stayed at - First time in Brighton with work and feel that I've found my go-to hotel for future stays.
Greatful to Dawid at reception who was very friendly and made my first impressions last - The team at this hotel are really ace - 10 / 10. The chefs and food options for vegans is exceptional- Lot's of choice for breakfast and dinner.
I'm a regular guest at IHG hotel for business and personal stays - I'd say this is the best experience I've had at any Holiday Inn - Thanks team!

Booked a premium room by phone, got the confirmation that they would make up a separate bed for my son. Upon arrival they forgot to do this. Furthermore, they didn't inform me during the booking process or prior to my arrival that the entire hotel didn't have airconditioning due to renovation. This is unacceptable as the air quality was very poor, which caused a bad night of sleep. It also doesn't rectify a standard rate instead of a heavily discounted rate. Friendly staff however and spectacular view if you have booked sea view room.

Maintenance staff should do regular rounds in rooms to make sure everything is working properly (towel rack loose, bathroom face mirror loose, bed-side lamp shade falling off). Larger, wall-mounted TV would be nice (Rm 226 had something like a 32 inch model). HVAC not working in multiple rooms and we were not informed of this in advance of our stay; regardless of the season, guests should be notified of systems that will be off line or not working during their visit. We were not notified. Hotel restaurant was closed for a private event on one of the nights that we had planned to eat there. We were not notified in advance and had to make other arrangements for dining. Also, one of the rooms that we stayed in was not serviced during the day -- no we didn't put out a "do not disturb" or any other door hanger. So, we had to call for clean towels.

Stayed 2nights 3days.
I had mixed feelings about this hotel.
The balcony with sea view was great. Room was spacious. Hotel is centrally located, able to walk easily to food and attractions.
Carpet in common areas and rooms was dated and dirty. Rooms definately had visible wear and tear, could fix with paint. I did find sequins in the bed and some beads on bathroom floor, making me question if room was cleaned properly. No washclothes, which should be provided when providing liquid soap.
Bathroom door very narrow and didn't open all the way, someone in a walker definately wouldn't be able to get in. Tried to eat dinner at the hotel resturant, was told we had to be gone by 7 as they had an event. As we proceeded to sit, the gentleman did say we could only have pizza. Needless to say, we didn't eat there. Would've been nice if had been posted on door that they were going to be closed, would have seen that at breakfast and made other arrangements.
Not 100% sure I would stay again.

We went last week as part of a coach party . Room & room service good & a fan provided which we used and appreciated . Good roomy lifts and seating area outside and good access to the seafront & Town. The evening meal was a buffet and was truly awful - lukewarm at best & laid out in a bizarre manner . The majority of it was obviously made from frozen food with no thought as to how it went together . Also no consideration of dietary requirements . Labels above the food were all pertaining to the breakfast buffet i.e stating fried eggs bacon tomatoes etc !! The last night an extra coach party was put in with us and we were unable to find somewhere to sit properly . We had mandarin cheesecake that night for dessert and it was still frozen !! That night was the only night any salad appeared . We actually resorted to going out for food twice and bought sandwiches from M&S another day as the food was so poor we were unable to eat it . This evening buffet meal really let down an otherwise good hotel and needs to be improved .
