  I've been here for a couple of weeks on this trip. I've stayed here multiple times in the past as the location is convenient for me. The consistent problem is the very slow service. My average wait time to get a drink or get service at the check in area is approx 5 minutes. The longest I waited was 10 minutes. There are simply no employees around to help you most of time you approach the bar or check in area. They have a button to press for service which doesn't seem to help much. I've wasted a lot of my time standing around. The refresh service on the room was terrible. They didn't change the bedding or clean any surfaces. They only changed the towels and the cups. They left my tea and coffee empty and messy. So be prepared.

  It was my daughter’s birthday, and she loves Premier Inn, so we go every year. I informed the receptionist, and they said they would ask someone to sort something out in the room. This was not done. The rooms were so filthy and disgusting. The smell as you came into the room was very unpleasant. The bathroom had an old, damp smell. There were stains everywhere. The room was extremely run down, with paint peeling off the walls. The carpet was absolutely filthy. There were handprint marks on the bathroom walls and on the windows. There were old blood stains on the duvet. Extremely unsanitary. The dust in the room was really bad. When we went to breakfast the following morning, the plates and cutlery had food stains on them. The eggs were so rubbery. The worst place I have ever stayed in. I did inform the lady at reception and showed her the pictures. She didn’t seem to care. She didn’t apologise or offer to change the rooms. She just said there would be someone to clean the room. When I asked her how long it would be, she said she didn’t know. We waited a long time for someone to show up but ended up having to go and find someone to clean. I had to plead with the cleaner to come into the room, as she was very irritated and reluctant. The service was disgusting. I asked her if she could at least clean the bathroom so that we could shower and enjoy the rest of my daughter’s birthday.

  This Premier Inn does not live up to its reputation. Booked twin room but had 1 double and 1 sofa bed not made up. Staff made up bed, no bottom mattress topper, sheets looked unironed. Room basic but felt unclean. Mould spots on ceiling. Bathroom had marks against bath and looked tired. Not many towels and a very small bath mat. Can get more towels and bath mat from reception which we did. Restaurant ok. Put off by watching kitchen staff scratching head, no gloves and touching food. Also with long hair would be better covering with hair net. The staff there were very helpful. However overall feel accommodation was grubby and not enough staff. The only thing in its favour was proximity to beach.

  Don't mind having to wait for a meal but in a building with 9+ floors only having two members of staff covering reception bar and resturant is a joke. being told you have to wait 15 minutes for a table to be free even tho there not at full capacity and then having to wait 45 minutes for food. Then sitting there waiting for your desert start -19:30 -finished @ 21:30. But I can only say that Josh and Nicole, even tho they were up against it they kept pushing forwards. Hats off to you guys and the shef for doing all you could. The problem lies with penny pitchers trying to save a few pounds. You have some great staff, give them some more support.

  A great location within easy reach of good restaurants. Great bus service with connections to almost anywhere. Beaches within a mile or so. Parking at hotel is at an adjoining underground car park which is chargeable, reasonable £11 a night. Hotel was normal Premier Inn, very clean but a little tired looking in some areas. Room was fresh and clean, bed was super comfy and very quiet, though student accommodation next door was empty due to holiday period! We only ate breakfast in the restaurant and I have to say my experience as a Coeliac requiring gluten free food was 95% superb, spoilt only on the last morning by a poor experience with one staff member. Special mention goes to Yara for her super friendly attitude and her understanding of allergens, she took exceptional care once she knew of my requirements, bringing fresh cutlery, bowls and serviettes and having my cooked breakfast individually prepared and it came with an allergen flag as well. I have never had better attention from anyone, anywhere else and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves from her employers, she is an example of excellence.
