  Lovely stay in Edinburgh! This is the most luxurious hotel in Edinburgh. The service is outstanding. The rooms are large and well furnished. The hotel restaurants are excellent. A highly recommended stay.

  The location is good other than that everything looks like 2 stars hotel , the furniture is old and I don’t mean classic no its very old , most of the staff not well trained, some of the housekeepers don’t do their work as they should, they forget to clean my room although I left it almost the whole day , i call them 5 p.m asking them to come and clean , and left the room, when I came back it was clean but they forgot to collect the trash in the room and in the bathroom,,so the trash stayed 2 days in a 5 star hotel!!!!! For me i don’t recommend it

  Room was nice but bit small, AC barely worked, they need to put a fan inside the room. Staff were nice but pretty much didn’t do anything when we ask them check the AC issue, also the housekeeping came in very late even though we requested it couple times as we need a nap to adjust the jet lag, we called front desk around 10 am and they didn’t show up until 12:30 pm. Breakfast was ok, friendly staff and decent food quality, the restaurant got packed very easily. With the price they charged ( about $900/ night) and the service we received, it’s really underwhelming, not sure if I will want to stay here again.

  This hotel was amazing the room was excellent it was very spacious and the view over the river Firth was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable my partner and I slept really well and it also had a complimentary mini bar. The food was 5 star and the concierge staff David H and John were so helpful and pleasent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

  We booked three rooms for six of us on a family vacation, and we could not have been happier with this hotel. Some of the reviews complained about the size of the room, but we have been in multiple hotels across Europe, and these rooms are certainly not small in comparison. As other reviews have indicated, the location of this hotel is perfect; however, the best thing about this hotel was the staff and the service they provided. There was always a “good morning” when we came downstairs for the day and we were greeted at the door every time we came into the hotel. The restaurant staff at our morning breakfast was also just fantastic. Our experience could not have been better and when we come back to Edinburgh, we will book this hotel immediately - no looking around at other hotels for us!
