  La posizione dell’hotel è sicuramente uno dei suoi punti di forza: centralissima e molto comoda per visitare la città anche a piedi. Ho invece trovato il rapporto qualità-prezzo non particolarmente convincente. La camera era davvero molto piccola, al punto da rendere praticamente impossibile aprire contemporaneamente due valigie. Considerando il prezzo pagato, mi sarei aspettato spazi decisamente più adeguati. Anche la colazione mi ha lasciato perplesso: esclusivamente dolce e senza una vera alternativa salata. In Scozia, sinceramente, mi sarei aspettato almeno la possibilità di scegliere qualcosa di salato, anche considerando le abitudini della colazione locale. Ci sono però diversi aspetti positivi: molto comoda la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli sia prima del check-in sia dopo il check-out, utile il bar/caffetteria all’interno della struttura e davvero gentile e disponibile il personale, molto giovane ma attento e cordiale. In sintesi, ottima posizione e personale molto valido, ma camere troppo piccole e colazione migliorabile rispetto al prezzo pagato. La posizione è un grande vantaggio, ma a queste tariffe mi aspetterei qualcosa in più.

  Stayed here for 1 night in July 26, paid £350 for 1 night with additional early checkin and breakfast next day. We were there for a concert at Murrayfield which I am guessing meant the high cost and we did book it in November 25. First Impressions were good of the reception and bar/lounge area. Our Room was on 3rd floor and it was a very small double with no window. Room was clean and fine for 1 night but you do need to be comfortable with whomever you are sharing with as the toilet is not very private. I was with hubby so not a problem. Bed is very high and against the wall so person at the back would need to climb over to get out. Only 1 chair too. We only had small overnight cases so easily stored under the bed. I could hear the Air con gurgling away all night. 1 lift wasn't working the day we arrived and still not working next day. It was a Friday night and the bar was open till 1am which was welcome after a long night and trip back from Murrayfield and it was very quiet. Bar staff were very friendly. Location very good but the tram is not running along Princes Street just now so it was a bit of a walk to the West end each time to get the tram. All in all it was fine for 1 night but I would book a bigger room if staying longer.

  Como vengo señalando en otras opiniones, Europa tiene un serio problema de espacio, pero algunos hoteles lo resuelven bien y otros no tanto. En este hotel, muy bien ubicado en el centro de Edimburgo, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero el espacio está bien distribuido, con lugar para las valijas debajo de la cama, un escritorio retráctil y lo necesario para que uno pase una o dos noches con relativa comodidad, a pesar del tamaño de las habitaciones. La ubicación es óptima para recorrer, pero si uno tiene que pedir un Uber al aeropuerto, al ser una calle peatonal hay que caminar varias cuadras, y a mí me tocó hacerlo bajo la llovizna. El personal es amable pero no tan servicial como en otros hoteles. Cumplió bien su función.

  I am currently staying here, and unfortunately, I can confidently say I will never stay here again. The room was dirty upon arrival, and the overall level of service has been extremely disappointing. Staff have been dismissive, with a general “sort it out yourself” attitude that is completely unacceptable for a hotel charging these prices. I requested for my room to be cleaned, only to return later and find that it had not been cleaned at all. When I went to the front desk to ask why, I was simply told that it had “slipped through the cracks.” That is not an acceptable explanation, especially when I had specifically requested the service. The shower also has extremely low water pressure, and the cleanliness of the rooms clearly needs serious attention. The hotel appears to be lacking basic attentiveness to its guests and the standard of service you would reasonably expect. The only redeeming factor is the location. However, you could stay at virtually any other hotel in the area and receive a much better level of service and care. For the amount of money I have paid to stay here, the experience has been absolutely appalling. I would not recommend this hotel and certainly will not be returning.

  I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews, but I always try to be completely honest. I had three Hub locations booked during my trip; two were great, but this one missed the mark. Check-in took a long time, and the staff seemed incredibly rushed and annoyed. After a long day of sightseeing, I finally made it to my room around 8:00 PM, looking forward to a shower and a relaxing evening. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Once I took my shoes off, I realized the floor inside the entrance door was soaking wet. The air conditioning unit was broken, making strange noises, and dripping water everywhere. Because the carpet was already quite filthy, the moisture created an unpleasant smell of hot, dirty carpet. I went downstairs to explain the situation, and the desk agent came up to inspect the room. He confirmed the issue but told me the hotel was fully booked and they couldn't move me. His only solution was to bring me a fan. It turned out to be a long, hot, and smelly night, leaving me beyond disappointed. The only saving grace was that they refunded my stay. Honestly, though, I would have gladly paid more just to have a comfortable, clean room. I will definitely not be booking this location again. I'm giving it two stars solely for the convenient location and the price, but two out of three stays at this hotel chain was worth trying the hotel brand again just not at this location.
