My mother and I stayed at Hotel Indigo on Princes Street during our visit to Edinburgh, and it was one of the nicest hotels of our trip. Our room was the smallest of the accommodations we stayed in throughout Scotland, but it was also by far the nicest and cleanest. Everything felt well cared for, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. It was a perfect reminder that a hotel room doesn't have to be large to be lovely! The dining area was equally impressive. It was exceptionally clean, and the service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Those details really make a difference when you're traveling. The location on Princes Street was also wonderful for exploring Edinburgh, and having a view of Edinburgh Castle made the experience even more special. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautifully maintained hotel in a fantastic Edinburgh location.

Great onsite breakfast. Lovely service. And Location Location Location! Minutes from tram and a short walk to train station. TONS of restaurants in walking distance. Right around the corner from fabulous huge shopping mall. Beautiful and would definitely stay here again!!!
- SGSarah GrajedaSep 29, 20265.0Had a great 3 night stay at the princess street IHG. Easy check in at 9:30pm, friendly staff, adorable room (King Premium) and it was surprisingly large. Clean room, comfortable bed, air conditioning that worked well, water in the mini fridge, and a few small snacks waiting for us. Didn’t hear any street noise between 9:30pm and about 6:30am. Would have appreciated USB ports by the bed, but we made it work. The only weird thing is that the shower didn’t have a full door or curtain, so water got everywhere even when we tried to be really careful… easy to manage ourselves, but a bit odd for longevity. We unfortunately didn't dine at the hotel, as it was a prime location to lots of shopping and restaurants, and a short walk over the bridge or up the steps to Market Street and Old Town. Right across the street from Waverly station which is very convenient!! A little noisy during the day but that's the reasonable tradeoff for being that close. Will definitely consider booking here again when we come back to Edinburgh!
