Someone decided to enter my room to put a chair in without prewarning or clearing with me first. Which I’m not happy about as I had personal belongings out and made me question the security which reception staff didn’t seem phased about. Dirty old contact lenses from previous guests on floor. Dusty rooms. If this wasn’t booked by work I would have left

There were still a few parking places outside the hotel - we arrived quite late - almost the midnight. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff was nice and friendly. It’s a good place for having a quality overnight stay for those driving to the north from London.
