The best breakfast I have had in ages ! We requested for the vegetarian ham and sausages and it was lovely ! The staff were absolutely well-mannered and kind , it was a pleasure to come . The breakfast filled me up until afternoon was over ! I kept on dreaming when we could come back here and how did they make these fabulous foods ! Amazing and delecious ! Well done . Plus , the toilets were very clean . Made my day . Best premier Inn ever !

I stayed at the Durham city centre Premier inn during a recent business trip. The hotel is located in the centre of Durham. Walking distance from to pubs restaurant shops. There is a multistorey car park right next to the hotel which is safe and priced reasonably.
Regarding the hotel, it's a standard Premier inn, staff friendly helpful. Rooms are ok for the price, spacious, decent bathrooms. Kettle in the room, although no fridge.
I dined 🍽, breakfast and dinner. Food very average, id suggested going out for dinner as the hotel food is very bland, although edible. Breakfast was ok. Hot and cold options.
Overall, this is a good hotel if visiting Durham, id use this hotel again if im in Durham.

Our room was perfect, lovely and clean and well stocked with drinks.
Breakfast was a proper full hot buffet too, which is not always the case at some premier inns. It's one of the main reasons we wanted to stay here!
Great location, parking in the multistorey just behind, and you get a discount voucher for parking on checkout.
Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Durham

From booking (6 rooms) to checking out we had fabulous service. In the week prior to arriving I had a couple of queries. Emails were answered fully by Chris who also gave some helpful advice about travelling to Beamish. Friendly staff on arrival , (Robbie?). Premiere Plus rooms (as booked) were all clean, walk in showers, drinks tray and Nespresso machine. Extra supplies readily available on ground floor near the lift. Oh yes, 2 lifts in working order:) Great breakfast with plenty of choices (and black pudding😆). All hot. Staff were all great although Colleen does deserve a special mention. Cheerful, helpful, worked so hard all the time and especially during breakfast peak time where she was clearing tables, helping customers, replenishing breakfast food, moving tables…. You name it - she was constant!! Hope you enjoy your well deserved holiday Colleen.
Thank you to all staff for making our weekend away so great.

We used Stasher to store our luggage at the Premier Inn in Durham and had an excellent experience from start to finish.
The lady who helped us when we dropped off our bags was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Later in the day, she kindly allowed one of us to access our luggage to retrieve something we needed, which we really appreciated. When we returned to collect our bags, we were assisted by a gentleman who was equally pleasant and helpful.
Both members of staff provided outstanding customer service and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Their friendly attitude and willingness to help really stood out and left a great impression on us.
A big thank you to the team - we wouldn’t hesitate to use this location again and would happily recommend it to others.
