Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean hotel. Easy to find. Check in was simple and they booked us a table for an evening meal (shame to see these pubs go as they are always reliable!) They were very helpful with any questions we had on the area. Will be returning next year but just not sure what will happen food wise.

We stay here every year on our way up north and on the way back home - but sadly this will be the last time. The bathrooms have always been an issue. On our last visit, the shower curtain smelled strongly of mildew, and this time the bathroom smelled of urine. We also arrived late and had to buzz for almost five minutes before anyone came to the door. We were then greeted with, "We can't book you a room, it's after midnight," despite already having a reservation. For close to £100 a night, this simply isn't good enough. Very disappointing, and unfortunately not somewhere we'll be staying again.

Lovely 2 night stay here in a premier inn plus room, bed was super comfy, a lovely shower, the room was spacious and clean. Bottled water in the fridge which was great as it was roasting outside. Again aircon not working under 19°, that’s the third premier inn claiming aircon, it’s no good if it’s blowing warm air! Luckily had a fan! Breakfast was good next door and receptionists all really smiley and chatty. Plenty of parking there and in a great location! Would happily stay there again!

Disappointing from start to finish. If you have any alternative, I'd recommend staying elsewhere. This is by far the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed in, and the experience has genuinely made me question whether I'd book with the chain again. We arrived at around 10:20pm expecting a quick check-in so we could get some sleep after a long day. Instead, we were left waiting for over 15 minutes while the receptionist dealt with another customer's enquiry about availability at other Premier Inn locations for two weeks' time. At that time of night, it would have been far more appropriate to suggest the customer check availability online or simply pause for two minutes to check us in before continuing the conversation. Unfortunately, breakfast was even worse. The hot buffet isn't self-service, with just one member of staff taking and managing hot food orders for every table. We waited well over 20 minutes just to place our order, which immediately put us behind schedule and added unnecessary stress to the day. The delays throughout our stay were completely unacceptable and made what should have been a straightforward overnight stop unnecessarily frustrating. This was the worst Premier Inn experience I've had, and it has genuinely put me off booking with the chain again. I would avoid this location at all costs if you have any other accommodation options.
