  We were checked in by a very friendly young man who was informative. Our room was very clean, as were the bedding and towels. Beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Nice big shower with shampoo and body wash Breakfast was plentiful and lots to choose from! We liked that the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the bus station, plus across the road there is a Tesco. Right next door is a kebab shop and so cheap with lovely food. I'd give this hotel a ten out of ten. Thank you!

  This is the first time in my life finding myself writing a bad review, but this place is appalling. My wife and I slept, or tried to should I say, in room 215. The room was on the first floor right above a club that played extremely loud music till half past midnight, all we could was the bass sound and the vibrations from it. Unfortunately the noise didn't finish there, once the music stopped a lot of the people of the club, at the time completely drunk stayed there shouting and revving up a couple of tuned cars. In all this we asked a change of room, with a young man who was willing to help, I said that I wouldn't have any problems in paying for an upgrade, but when he looked like he had the solution he asked the manager, a tall guy with the sweatiest armpits I've ever seen, Unfortunately I don't have his name, but the guy didn't allow the room change. The bathroom smelt of mould and breakfast room was small, crammed and extremely dirty. Avoid this place it's the worst hotel experience I've had in hundreds of hotels I stayed, both for work and holidays. The only positive word goes to Alan C. Who was very helpful when we arrived before check in time and at checkout, unfortunately he wasn't there on the evening shift.

  Great location, guys in reception very friendly and helpful, room standard size and very clean, full breakfast perfect. Stay with Holiday Inn in many countries, great standard. Well done guys. Definitely Recommend

  Fantastic place to stay. Great atmosphere. Good hospitality and friendly staff. Shout out to Pauline, Thomas, Laurence and Tiernan and all the staff. Very central to all amenities.

  Noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. There's a live music venue downstairs which vibrated my pillow until 1am, then the pub across the road was pumping music until 2am. Could hear every other door on the floor opening and closing. Cannot see why so many positive reviews. Worst stay I've ever experienced. No support from the hotel or Holiday Inn for apology or compensation. First and last time with that chain as wasn't cheap either.
