  Not able to get an evening meal unless on a pre booked meal deal,not enough staff to clean the corridors no water in the vending machine for days, no ice in bar, all round i would advise people to go somewhere else .

  Very disappointing breakfast experience. We arrived at the breakfast area at 9:00 a.m., well before breakfast service had ended, but there were no plates for the hot food and many of the hot food containers were completely empty. The staff seemed unable to keep up with refilling the food. The dining area was also not very clean – many tables were dirty, and the tiled floor was sticky. The employees were very young and appeared inexperienced, as they didn’t seem to know how to manage the breakfast service properly. Overall, this was not the standard I expected from Premier Inn.

  Not a bad location and decent views. Wish i’d known about the request room clean before the day i left as i could’ve done with a coffee refill in the room. Advisable to book the restaurant as we couldn’t get in or just go to harvester up the road

  Plenty of (free) parking available on site. Speedy check-in process and a brilliant location: close enough to town (and the station) to walk to (10 mins) and very easy access to/from the cross-channel ferry to Cherbourg. Poole is a lovely town to explore on foot and there are lots of open spaces nearby that are worth visiting too. Our room was very clean, well appointed with a TV, kettle, hairdryer and plug points for rechargeable devices. But we noted there is no shaving socket in the bathroom. We visited during one of the (increasingly common) heat-waves and found the air-conditioning was effective and ran quietly. during the night. Will definitely book again

  Reception was quick and easy. Room is OK but the bed is far too high. My wife struggled to sit on the bed and had trouble just getting in. Similar problem with the bath. Why is it so high, making it hard to step into it? Other aspects of the room were OK. We were not informed that the restaurant was short-staffed until I tried to book a meal and was told I couldn't. By that time I'd had a drink so couldn't drive anywhere else. So couldn't eat until the next morning. Staff shortages at breakfast caused problems. The lady serving us was clearly stressed and was not happy when I asked for cups for coffee. She seemed annoyed and said they were, "On the other side." I didn't know what that meant, but it turned out they were behind roller blind and, so, out of sight. Not my best experience at a Premiere Inn. I bet Lenny Henry doesn't stay here.
