  Do not book in the summer!!! You have been warned.Just had the most miserable few days when the rooms were over 30° all night. They give you 2 fans which just waft hot air around the room. There is no relief from the heat. Windows dont open so no escaping the heat. No food facilities as pub next door is being renovated. They maintained they provided breakfast as in croissants, fruit etc but it was awful cheap and nasty croissants in a package and fruit consisted of a apple very bruised the one day I bothered to go down. Finally we requested room service and that didn't happen either, had to complain for the room to be done the next day.

  Do not book during summer. We stayed before an early ferry with our three young children. The room was unbearably hot all night despite three fans being provided. The outside temperature dropped, but the room remained stifling due to poor ventilation. This appears to be a recurring issue, with other guests reporting similar experiences during warm weather. The breakfast arrangements were also poor, with limited options and nothing suitable for my family’s gluten-free requirements. Most disappointing was the response from Premier Inn Customer Services, which focused on the lack of air conditioning rather than addressing the fact that the room did not provide a reasonable night's sleep. Edit: in response to Premier Inn's response, I have already contacted Guest Relations. This review was a direct consequence of their completely inadequate response and failure to honour the Good Night Guarantee

  No air conditioning in the rooms. 30 degrees when i stayed. Didnt sleep as was far too hot. No food or drink either as the pub its allied to on the same site was closed for refurbishment. All in all not good.

  Bed was very comfy and even in the heat, with the fans working we both had a good night's sleep. The first morning I spoke to a lovely young lady, explaining that at my age I sometimes have a problem and wear a pad, in view of this could our bathroom bin be emptied daily ! Getting back from visiting family this had been done - but both of our cups had been removed with no new ones. So back to reception and all they had were take out paper cups, and even after complaining no fresh cups or bin clearing was done on either of our two subsequent days. Yes, there was work going on to put in a new breakfast room and staff were lovely but different every day, with comments obviously not passed on. But saying that if we had a second chair in the room and two hand towels not one, we would definitely stay there next time we visit family
