The staff are really lovely and the service is fast and efficient. The restaurant is nice, with a good choice & fair prices. I stayed 3 nights and would happily stay again. From a corporate brand perspective, the site is looking a little tired and in need of some basic cosmetic work; but that is no reflection on your staff 🙂

EXCELLENT service and the food was lovely thanks to Anna and Angela. Angela is sweet and lovely and so is Anna. Claire was really nice to us too. Lewis cooks a really good sausage. The coco pops were really, really great and I loved them.

Terrible value at £140 for 1 night stay in August. I would have expected more. My room was basic and very run down (paint chips, tired looking walls and floor coverings), while the bathroom was mouldy and the extractor fan was so unbearably loud I didn't even bother to use the bath to relax like I planned. Constant water drop from bath tap. TV remote was discusting with dirt. Check in I felt was a bit too invasive in terms of details asked. I wouldn't like to have shared all my details in front of others if the lobby was busy. I thought I could self check in with qr code as my email hinted to but it was a manned check-in process. Room view was that if a hedge. Nothing fancy or bad. Road noise obvious when window open. Bed was good and I did have a good night's sleep but I absolutely will not stay again unless I had nowhere else to go and only if the price dropped to £70 or less per night. It's never worth more! Location on the edge of town bypass with no walkable shops nearby. Hotel carpark is OK sized but does get very busy. Entrance road in is covered in horrendous potholes and quite dangerous. Ongoing construction works adjacent to hotel.

It's quite possibly the hottest Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. To give them their dues it is well advertised that there is no AC, there was a fan in the room, and you can have a lighter sheet if you're too warm... However, if I wanted to sleep in 25°C I would've saved my £100 and put it towards a holiday in Greece. With a 10° temperature difference between the room and the outside I was contemplating sleeping in the car. The ladies on the desk were nice enough for the times I interacted with them and the entry road adds a little spice to the whole affair. No comments on the restaurant as we went to Willie's Wraps for breakfast.
