Ok but the whole site is a bit tired. Beefeater was not great and breakfast was not great. A lot of people but everything was dirty, plates and tea station. All needed tyding up. Parking was full so had to move it later in the day. Was also £8

Loved this hotel. It has a great location opposite the beach and walk to the harbour with plenty of restaurants and places to drink. We had a sea view room which was absolutely lovely. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were friendly. Check in was a little chocca and staff wouldn't let us check in 5 mins earlier which seemed a little pedantic. But overall great stay.

We loved our stay at the Premier Inn at Torquay. The location is perfect with beach access directly across the road. The room was lovely and comfortable. We paid a little extra for a sea view (about £15) which was well worth it. We paid £10.99 for unlimited breakfast the following morning which was well worth the money and lovely food. I will definitely be returning.
The staff were nice and friendly but my one complaint would be that we were allowed to check in about 8 mins early as the receptionist said that it wouldn't be fair for other visitors who had paid for an early check in. I get that but for 8 minutes early it felt unreasonable as I had a small child with me after a long road trip.

Didn't stay here but blundered in for an early evening meal on Friday as it was nearby. Be warned and get there before 5pm if you want to avoid the trap I fell for. Ordered fish and chips from the table menu that appeared to be priced at £7.99 BUT at the till our 2 meals were charged at £16.99 each. When challenged the cashier explained that yes the price leaps up a massive 112% and costs more than double when ordering after 5pm.
I fail to see the justification for price gouging on this scale and sadly, it ruined my appetite for the pathetic little meal of a medium sized battered cod fillet, 9 chips and about 25 peas.

Location is just perfect. Restricted parking spaces. Room clean, usual Premier Inn standard. Unfortunately the bathtub is not ideal, the curveture of the tub is quite dangerous as it's very curvy tub with no grip to get in and out can be slippery if not careful. Can't say the service has been good, as we were checking in both reception was out smoking, not impressed. We had breakfast during our stay, food was really good unfortunately we were quite intimidated borderline refuse when late for breakfast. The booking system they have is not welcoming at all, as we're pressured to book a time, seems really rigid. Whatever happens to common sense and trusting customers to be courteous to make way for others to enjoy breakfast when one finishes! Felt like we got to fall in line with what restaurant expects from the customers, hmm, guess there's no privilege for customers. There was another issue with the service that was just too much for me to share here. So I'll just wrap up by saying if you like the location it's ace, but if good service is one of the criteria, perhaps look to another review if they have a different experience than me!
