  Great stay. Rhys and Ness really looked after us. Breakfast was fantastic. Really fresh and home cooked. We had a meal deal, great value for money. Lovely choices for food and efficient service. Could not fault this. Room was air conditioned and really clean and I’m really fussy, but could find no fault. Would definitely stay here again on the way to see family. Lovely break

  Today we decided to go shopping and have breakfast out and remembered that premier inn does breakfast and you don’t have to stay there. Turned up unannounced and got in there and then. We had full English breakfast a choice of fresh fruit salad, muffins, pancakes, toast, and go up and get more if wanted . Proper tea and orange juice and not his cheap stuff. Chef was a lovely chap and beaming smile. All staff were cheerful and courteous and accommodating my dietary needs. Many thanks for all your help today.

  Main door is locked with no way to open it from the inside. So your basically trapped until a member of staff come to open it for you. Not exactly safe

  Unfortunately, this was the worst Premier Inn stay I’ve had. On arrival, one of the hand towels had a brown substance on it that looked like faeces, which was obviously a really unpleasant start to the stay. I wasnt told that simply hanging the ‘Make Up My Room’ sign on the door isnt enough and that you also need to tell reception that morning if you want the room serviced. I followed this, but the housekeeping was still incredibly disappointing. On the morning the room was supposedly serviced, the used coffee cup and spoon hadn’t been changed, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned and the bed hadn’t been made. It appeared that only the towels had been replaced and the bins emptied. The following day, I specifically spoke to reception again and hung the ‘Make Up My Room’ sign on the door. I came back later to find that the room hadn’t been serviced at all. I will say there was one gentleman on reception, with curly hair and glasses, who was genuinely lovely and extremely apologetic about the situation. The breakfast was also tasty, and having M&S opposite was convenient. Unfortunately, those positives don’t make up for the standard of cleanliness and housekeeping. I stay at Premier Inns regularly and have never had an experience like this before. I absolutely wouldn’t book this particular hotel again.
