It's a Premier Inn - you know what you are getting!
Clean and comfortable hotel, friendly service but can be a little slow. Location of closer to the harbour than it appears as located down a dark industrial street with apparent perpetual building works. Hotel feels a little dark purely due to construction and layout - decor is typical premier inn. Nice enough in house restaurant, but plenty of other offerings a short walk round Sutton Harbour.

I've stayed at the Sutton Harbour hotel for a few times. The last I stayed I decided to pay an extra £10 for their Premier Plus room with a harbour view. Yes you get a view but its blocked so I was disappointed. I will not book the extra view next time.
The Premier room is no different to their standard room. Bed is the same. However, it does come with a fridge, complimentary chocolates, a coffee machine and free wifi. The free wifi was ideal!
However, if you're not booking with a view you will be facing the traffic which is loud.
The hotel is very close to my work place, and walking to Drake Circus takes about 10-15 mins which isn't too bad.
I find their beds so comfy and I can sleep easily.

Usual premier inn standards but breakfast was better than average for warm element. Eggs cooked to order on arrival and warm trolley was stocked in small proportions BUT CONSTANTLY checked and topped up with better than usual quality of sausage and bacon. Appears to be run by by very young men but they particularly polite and efficient.

Very poor customer service. Duty manager and reception cancelled my call. Refuses to help with a booking.
When I first called reception. I asked for the receptionist name as I didn’t catch it when they spoke. They immediately cancelled the call. I then called again for my booking and the receptionist placed me on hold. The duty manager was then asked about a booking reference to which he cancelled the call without answering the question. They were extremely rude and dismissive. Do not book here
