The location is fine for the train station, bus station and shopping centre but is a 20 minute walk for the Barbican or Hoe. The views are not great but the service is excellent and the rooms are clean, quiet and very comfortable. Bar and restaurant choices appear varied and are a reasonable costs for a city centre hotel.

Room was unbelievably warm, no aircon, had the ceiling fan and desk fan on the duration of my 2 days there and was still stuffy, bed/pillows weren’t exactly comfortable either and I was in a ‘club’ Room, could definitely use an upgrade of decor as it was dated. I will say that the location is good but that’s all about it’s got going for it! Will be avoiding for any future stays

Wonderful stay while visiting the UK. Staff especially was attentive and friendly, very helpful with every need. Most importantly was the great focus on food safety - with coeliac disease, I could still enjoy the breakfast buffet, without a worry. An absolute delight through the whole experience.

I had a really pleasant stay at the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent — very central and within easy reach of everything, which made getting around Plymouth incredibly convenient. It’s a great base if you want to explore the city without having to travel far. The staff were one of the highlights of my stay. Everyone I came across was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. I also really appreciated being able to charge my phone at reception, which was a small thing but very helpful at the time. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The décor is quite simple and traditional rather than particularly modern or stylish, which is usually more my personal preference, but everything was perfectly fine, tidy and comfortable. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Great location, lovely and helpful staff, clean rooms and a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth, especially if you’re looking for somewhere convenient and welcoming in the heart of the city.I had a really pleasant stay at the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth and would happily stay here again. We have been coming here for the last 4 years. Twice each year picking up and dropping daughter at university . We love the area and this hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beach area with all its lovely cafes . We particularly like the Waterfront Cafe . .hotel right next to sainsburies with a little hidden shopping centre underneath. .Armada way is full of interesting things and play areas for children . .the hotel staff are all very proffessional and do their utmost to help. . Food in restaurant is first class id say. .sadly this may be our last time here as daughter coming home for good now. . But i know she will miss being in Plymouth . . Id recommend this hotel without a doubt . .
