Good hotel, decent location, especially for the racecourse. Room spotless and the bar staff, especially Corinna was amazing, credit to the Premier Inn.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and tidy. Asked for replacement travel cot as one provided was broken. No trouble at all with having it changed. Asked for milk for babies bottle for bedtime and staff provided cold milk at the bar area. Ate at the restaurant, food was good, decor was really nice. Bed was very comfy, few noises from doors closing but didn't go on too late into the night.

Apparently there used to be a Beefeater restaurant onsite. I suspect it was the empty building over the walkway from reception? It's been replaced by something called "The Social" bizarrely located on the first-floor rooms corridor. I mentioned to the staff it was freezing cold in there, because two airconditoners were still on full blast almost a week after the Spring Bank Holiday weekend heatwave. The waitress said she was sweating and advised me to sit near the kitchen, away from the a/c units! The "classic main meal" was £13.99 for a few squares of ravioli, with one rocket leaf. It was more like a starter than a main. No chips and no salad, apart from the solitary rocket leaf. If you are visiting this Premier Inn I strongly advise you to get something to eat from the TESCO superstore over the road. I couldn't because it closes at 4pm on a Sunday and I arrived just before 5pm. On to the POSTIVES. The second floor room, with a bath, met the high standards I have experienced at previous Premier Inn vists (apart from the air-conditioning blasting away at 19C when I entered) and part of the parking area was undercover.

So I've never stayed here before and quite surprised how big the rooms are I honestly had the best nights sleep u can't fault the mattresses for sure The only thing is the air con thing it's got a mind of its on and doesn't push out cold air The food is a bit pricey especially the main meals I did have a issue with the toilet and again the staff were on hands to sort out the issues if I were in this area again i probably stay here

Great place to stay in the area, very central to lots of nice places to visit. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. Thanks to Reece (The Chef) for being very helpful and for also providing my partner with some wonderful extra crispy bacon. Thanks also to Oskar (Front of House) for being so welcoming and for keeping the restaurant area so clean and tidy. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting to you both, keep up the great work the pair of you, Premier Inn should be proud to have you working for them. 10/10 ⭐
