  Stayed regularly for many months and each time had exactly the same experience - an excellent one. The team are great, friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. The food is brilliant, especially for a hotel where it's usually microwaved rubbish - this is all freshly cooked and a varied menu, breakfast outstanding too. The beds though - comfiest you'll sleep in. Brilliant. Thank you all!

  Great hotel and always a great nights sleep. Stay here frequently for work and the colleagues are always very friendly (specific shout out to Declan). Breakfast is always great, has a small gym and the beds are the comfiest of hotel beds! Highly recommend!

  Me and my partner was looking at places close to the mammoth strength gym for a strongman competition and Voco Zeal caught our eye. Not only was it convenient, it looked very nice inside and out. Upon arrival, the reception staff was so pleasant and welcoming, I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality in my life. The 2 women who worked on Friday the 14th (unfortunately didn’t catch their names) especially was so welcoming towards us. They really spent the time to ask about my partner’s competition and was extremely enthusiastic about all of it. The entire 2 nights we spent there, the staff was one of the best parts. The bedrooms were very clean and tidy, not a spec of dust or hair anywhere. Plenty of things in the room for convenience; such as, extra toilet paper, an iron, dimmer lights, everything you could ask for. Unlimited cups of coffee, tea and fresh cold water just a few steps down the corridor. The breakfast was all you can eat, so much variety of pastries, hot food, toast, juices, cheese, meats, cereal! Majority of the food we ate was amazing (the mushrooms were a little watery for our liking). Unfortunately we did not eat in the restaurant for lunch or dinner due to having plans. The bar had lost of variety of different soft drinks and alcoholic ones and plenty of snacks! The inside, of the hotel, is designed beautifully. All together the we really enjoyed the whole hotel and will be returning soon!!!

  We had such a lovely experience at breakfast at voco Zeal Exeter, made all the better by Jayne. She greeted us with the biggest beaming smile and was incredibly warm, friendly and genuine from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was her natural warmth and honesty — she was an absolute pleasure to chat to and made us feel genuinely welcome rather than simply being another hotel guest. What a lovely lady and a massive asset to the voco Zeal team. People like Jayne make such a difference to a hotel stay and are exactly what you remember afterwards. Thank you, Jayne, for starting our day with a smile! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Lovely place really my second review so wouldn't go too much in depth. First review had 5 stars as well. Today I had stem broccoli with feta and almonds under their small plates as I don't eat tea really. Wife had their cottage pie and little one had the cheese burger again with fries. Really good food tried all of them, really yummy, fresh and you can tell its locally sourced. Looking forward to go again.
