£8.50 A DAY as a paying customer is abit ridiculous! Not to mention it's a maze to find your room! Was not a relaxing stay at all. AC was also on the wrong operating setting so we couldn't use it until we got someone to change it.

Room was clean staff was friendly there’s not much food options as I believe the bar next door has closed down and only serves breakfast in the mornings there’s a dominoes and subway over the road but not great if you staying over a few days there are options if you can drive about 5 - 10 minutes away you also have to pay for parking (at a discount rate) if your staying in the hotel but it is a decent hotel apart from the few drawbacks

One night stay at this hotel - location really handy right off the motorway, but we were disappointed to find that the restaurant is now closed, despite being told in an email the day before that it was open - frustrating when we'd had a long journey and just wanted something to eat before an early start the next day. Not much else around nearby to get dinner. Parking £8.50 for the night which seemed expensive. Room was fine and clean, bed comfortable, and check in/out was easy.

Stayed here this week for work after not staying in this hotel for approximately 7 months. The standards seem to have fallen (more so than before) as this time there were bed bugs in the room! I don't believe they were in my bed and found them in the bathroom. A quick Google and this is how bed bugs travel from room to room suggesting there may be a wider issue in this hotel??? Lodged a complaint with the hotel and cancelled future bookings - disgusting though. Lady on reception apologised but didn't seem surprised that there were bed bugs and simply put a glass over it for the inspectors later. (see the attached photos of bed bugs which appears to be full grown adults...) Update: having gotten home I have had my partner (who's a doctor) look at my back as its itchy and there are bites on my back and legs. Disgusting... BEWARE

The beds were very comfortable, and the family room was spacious, clean, and ideal for our stay. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the meal deal. We had booked and paid for the dinner and breakfast package, only to discover on arrival that the Chef & Brewer restaurant had actually closed down a month earlier. We had received no email or communication whatsoever to let us know before we arrived, despite the receptionist insisting that one had been sent. As a result, we were left without the dinner we had already paid for. When we raised this with reception, we were simply told that breakfast would still be available and that we'd "probably" receive a refund for the dinner. This wasn't very reassuring. To make matters worse, the dinner deal is still being advertised in the hotel foyer and can still be selected and paid for at the self-service check-in kiosks. It's unacceptable that guests are still able to purchase a meal deal for a restaurant that has been closed for over a month. The room itself was excellent, but the lack of communication and poor handling of this issue really let the stay down.
