  The staff were amazing, the food was excellent, unfortunately our air-conditioning leaked - the staff facilitated a move to a different room and I cannot fault them. However, because the air conditioning made similar sounds to our first room I didn't sleep well even in that room. I would consider staying again because of the staff, the food and the location which is just off the motorway.

  Decent room, nice and clean, pretty much everything you could possibly need for a one night stay. Loved the free breakfast (possibly incorporated in the price) not something that you get at premier inn. Shame about the parking charge. Should be free for paying guests. Other than that, a satisfactory visit and would definitely use again.

  Decent hotel well placed for the airport and Exeter. It's popular so if you get there late you may struggle to park. Rooms were okay and served their purpose. Can't comment on the breakfast as we had to be at the airport before it started. Reception staff were friendly and helpful

  Regularly stop here, greated with a welcome note on arrival, which is always a nice touch, take note other hotels small things go along way.

  ⭐ 1/5 – Extremely Disappointing Stay and Poor Response From Management This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we have experienced. The breakfast was extremely poor. The hash browns were badly cooked, with parts looking burnt and dried out while other parts were soft and unpleasant. The baked beans were poor, the sausages were very bad, and overall the breakfast was nowhere near the standard I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. I have included a photograph of the food we were actually served so people can judge the quality for themselves. What made the situation even more disappointing was the response when I raised the issue with the manager. I was told that this was how the hash browns were cooked in the air fryer. The manager also told me that he eats this food himself. Rather than acknowledging our concerns or trying to resolve the problem, I felt that our complaint was simply dismissed. Whether a manager personally eats the food isn't really the point. As a paying guest, I was raising a genuine concern about the quality of the breakfast being served. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, so unfortunately we didn't even get a good night's sleep. A hotel should at the very least provide a comfortable bed, a reasonable breakfast and staff who take a guest's concerns seriously. In our experience, this hotel failed on all three. Very disappointing, and we would not stay here again.
