  We stayed in 4 Premier Inns over 4 days, and this was the best of the bunch. Cleanest room. Most polite staff.

  Me and my family had a really horrible first night on the 23rd July we arrived at about 23.30 after driving from Cambridge on arrival we were given our key and went to the room on opening the door a strong smell of damp hit us from the bathroom. We tried to ignore it and settle down for a rest. I went to get into bed and said to my partner that my sheets felt damp. See said they were probably just cold I didn't think anymore of it and sat up watching TV until about 01.15 then went to bed.i ended up getting back uo at 01.20 as the sheets were definitely damp so I went to the front desk. I was given fresh bedding and I had to then make my own bed at 01.30 I don't expect to have to change my own bed at 01.30 in the morning because the sheets are damp. On inspection in the morning there was black mold in tge bathroom. Not at all happy. We were then moved to a new room for the remaining 3 days of our holiday. Please check your sheets and bathroom ceiling.

  I would not recommend staying at this Premier Inn. When I arrived, it was obvious the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. The bed had clearly been slept in before I checked in, which was shocking and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the lady on reception was very rude and unprofessional. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced poor customer service at this hotel. The Wi-Fi was poor, and the mobile phone signal inside the hotel was so bad that I couldn’t even make a phone call. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. Basic standards of cleanliness and customer service were not met, and I certainly won’t be returning.

  A cracking experience at this Premier Inn. We did our research before booking to try and find a high standard, clean PI for our 1 night stay before the remaining trip left to Cornwall. We were pleased we stopped here as the staff were friendly, helpful and the place was quite clean including the family room we were allocated. Thanks PI we'll see you again next year!

  Would give no stars if i could. Absolute disgusting behaviour from a so called 'professional business' absolutely disgustingly unprofessional lazy RUDE staff..AFTER TRAVELING 7 HOURS DOWN THE COUNRY. I SPEND 2 HOURS AT 9/10 AT NIGHT TRYING BOOK A ROOM ONLINE WITH PREMIERE INN BIDEFORD. NOTHING WORKS FOR ME. NO PAYMENT ONLINE WOULD GO THROUGH, NOTHING. So i try and ring premiere inn bideford, 4 TIMES. and i am greeted with an unbelievablly rude disgusting receptionist. That tells me he wont give me a roomfor the night because i said a swear word on the phone. Even if i did. Grow up. I DID NOT SAY ANY SWEAR WORD. HE WAS A LAZY DISGUSTING EXCUSE OF A RECEPTIONIST THAT WAS QUITE BLATANTLY LAZY AND MAKING EXCUSED SO HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO HIS JOB. ME AND MY FAMILY (2ADULTS AND 2CHILDREN THAT ARE 2AND 6 years old) ARE NOW HOMELESS AND SLEEPING ON A BENCH FOR THE NIGHT. THANK YOU SO MUCH PREMIERE INN BIDEFORD. U ARE HORRIFIC PEOPLE. HOPE U SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT. ABSOLUTE SCUM U ARE. U dont deserve a job. U are absolutely horrific excuses of humans. Thanks to MR I WONT TALK TO.YOU IF YOU SWEAR. and my son didnt even swear. Horrible lazy receptionist.
