  Great stay at Holiday Inn Derby. Stopped there as we were going to a gig. Reception, bar and restaurant clean and modern. Rooms smart and clean. Bed was surprisingly comfy, sound night sleep! Nowhere to hang clothes. The staff were so friendly and helpful this made it for us and we will deffo be back!

  Great place to stay, about a minute walk away from the town centre. Staff were lovely and very quick to deal with requests. We had a room directly above the bus station and my kids loved looking out and waving at all the buses.

  Stayed at Holiday Inn Derby Riverlights for 19 days during a business trip and had a great experience. The location is excellent, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the gym is well maintained. The breakfast was good with a standard British selection, and the staff were always friendly and supportive. My only suggestion is regarding the TVs in the rooms. Despite having large Philips Smart TVs, guests can only access local channels, with no option to use streaming apps like YouTube or Netflix or cast content from their devices. Adding these features would greatly improve the guest experience.

  Very clean and well managed hotel. The restaurant attached is also very good and they have a delicious and diverse breakfast. The staff, particularly the restaurant staff, were very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to others, and should I find ourselves back here, maybe for Download Festival, we'll stay here again. Thanks!

  The room was next to two pairs of swing doors that banged all night making sleep difficult. It was like door bang water torture! Seems a really bad design for end corridor rooms. There is a bus station right outside, not the hotels fault but also really noisy. Busses will idle noisily at 5 am. And in the morning we could hear a bansaw in the hotel somewhere... Sounded like construction or a bowling alley upstairs... The room itself was nice and spacious but the table had cracks by the legs and seems ready to fall down. Worse the nightlight had an exposed wire and could not be turned off. This wire is right where you sleep! This seems highly dangerous. Room maintenance seems poor. I can't believe the table on the verge of collapse has not been known of for a long time. Noisiest hotel stay of my life room 305.
