We stopped in the new Premier Plus rooms which were lovely. Everything worked and no issues. Breakfast was lovely and well cooked. I’ve deducted 1 star for the location. Whilst right in the centre of Rhyl and on the sea front, I thought Rhyl itself was a dump and i didn’t feel particularly safe in an evening outside of the hotel. In particular is the street you have to walk along at the rear of the hotel to the free hotel car park 25 meters away. In the short distance I spotted 3 abandoned mattresses and some sort of drugs deal in progress. The flats in the street also appeared to be attracting a certain sort. Whilst I appreciate this is outside the hotels control, it didn’t particularly encourage me to venture out or return to Rhyl. I would say it’s a good hotel to use as a base to explore the wider North Wales area.

We stay at Premier inns on a regular basis. This is the second time we have stayed at Rhyl seafront premier inn. The carpark had a mattress which had obviously been dumped there ?? There was rubbish everywhere on the carpark so first impressions for Rhyl premier inn are not of the usual high standard expected. We checked in we had to walk through restaurant with our luggage We booked a premier plus room only 1 bottle of water in fridge 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for 2 guests ? The cleanliness does not give you a wow factor we have stayed in much cleaner premier inns. The front entrance to the plus rooms has rubbish by the doorway and the tiled floor is in desperate need of a clean. We went to get towels late at night and used the front main entrance which has cigarette butt's by where your customers are putting the key cards. First impressions of the outside and the carpark look like whoever is manager here really does not care about the exterior which is such a shame as the location is ideal. I did comment on only having 1 bottle of water in the fridge upon checking out. This premier inn is the worst for cleanliness we have ever stayed in and we go away at least once a month always in premier inns, The place is not run with love friendliness.or passion Even the check inn was not to the usual standard of other premier inns we have stayed.

Recently stayed at Premier Inn rhyl in a Premier suite. The room was lovely spacious ventilated well lite and cosy..however the the view left a lot to be desired. Premier plus room at Premier Inn rhyl seem.to be ground floor at the far end. Overlooking a run down side street. Would have thought they would have been 1st or 2nd floor overlooking the promenade..however not at this hotel.instead to pay the extra for a view of a run down side street. Windows are double or triple glazed dont open. And you get idiots banging on the windows at all hours. With exception to that our 2 night stay was otherwise very nice

My trip was back in February. On arrival the receptionist said she couldn’t find my booking and said I needed to pay as I hadn’t paid yet. I couldn’t access the WiFi initially but eventually got it working and found my booking. Another colleague had to be called to issue as refund. Refund never came through. Hard to work to get through to on the phone. And guest relations refuse to speak to me because I booked through an app even though I have all the details. Vio (the app) tried to get the payment back but apparently the hotel refused. Called the hotel tonight and the hotel seemed shocked I still had the receipt. I have attached the receipt to numerous emails. Still pursuing it. This is what happens to nurses who work 7 days a week to exist. People like this take your money like it’s nothing and refuse to give it back. I work 7 days a week because a hospital I worked for forgot to pay me while I was recovering. And now I’m stuck. Meanwhile these companies steal money as though it doesn’t matter.

I’ve visited this hotel before and I have to say unfortunately the cleanliness has gone downhill. The room floor had hair (you could tell it hasn’t been hoovered) and there was hair in the bathroom too! The taps were dirty and it didn’t even look like an attempt had been made to clean the room. The walls had marks on them as if someone had spilled a drink on the wall I was a paying guest so I assumed that I would get a drink from the coffee machine included but turns out that you have to use the coffee sachets in the room (which we didn’t like) and can’t get coffee from the machine unless you pay; well that didn’t happen the last time I stayed as staff were polite then and had asked me kindly what drink I wanted but this time round I had to pay for a latte? Cleanliness was below standard and staff seemed as if they were not happy working there
