I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel due to a frustrating experience regarding my personal property. During my visit, I accidentally left a valuable gold locket behind the washroom gate. As soon as I realized my mistake later that same day, I immediately called the hotel receptionist to report the missing item and request a search. Unfortunately, the staff informed me that nothing had been found. While I understand that guests are responsible for their belongings, the lack of thoroughness or urgency in assisting me was incredibly discouraging. A hotel should feel secure, and its staff should show more care when a guest loses something valuable on the premises. I expected much better customer service and honesty. I will not be staying here again and advise future guests to watch their belongings very closely.

Extremely disappointing stay...nowhere near the Premier Inn standard I’m used to I have stayed at Premier Inns for years and, until this stay, I had always had a great experience. Unfortunately, our stay at this Premier Inn in Wales was so disappointing that I genuinely don’t know if I would stay at Premier Inn again. We paid around £400 for three nights, so I expected a basic level of cleanliness and service. Instead, from the moment we entered the room, there were problems. The extra pillows had stains on them — one appeared to have food/bean stains and another had a large, unexplained brown stain. Thankfully, the bedding was eventually changed, but it was incredibly unpleasant to discover this in the first place. The bedding itself also wasn't properly tucked in. The room had a strong unpleasant smell, and the bathroom smelled as well. The bathroom had not been properly stocked when we arrived: the soap was almost finished and there were barely any tissues. There was also a random pair of old socks belonging to a previous guest left on the bedside table. I genuinely cannot understand how a room can be checked and prepared for new guests while an entire pair of someone else's socks is still sitting there. The dirty window and bird droppings outside weren't a major issue to us because we understand that being on the seafront means this can happen. However, taken together with everything else, the overall cleanliness of the room was extremely disappointing. The breakfast situation was also frustrating. We were specifically told that we didn't need to pre-book breakfast and could simply come down the following morning. When we actually came down, we were then told that we hadn't pre-booked and that we would have to leave and come back half an hour later. We had planned our morning around what we had originally been told and consequently didn't even have enough time to enjoy breakfast properly. We also repeatedly asked for the room to be cleaned. We were initially told that the hotel was two housekeepers down, which I completely understand — staff shortages happen, and we were willing to be patient. However, we asked for the bathroom to be cleaned and restocked, and the bathroom was only restocked; it wasn't actually cleaned. The extra towels weren't collected either. The following day, we again requested a room clean. A housekeeper even came into the room while we were there and asked whether we wanted it cleaned. We said yes and asked if they could return in half an hour. We then went out for the entire day, having tidied all of our belongings and placed everything neatly to make it as easy as possible for the room to be cleaned. When we returned, the room was exactly as we had left it. The next day, we were then told that because we had a booking, the room couldn't be cleaned, despite having been allowed to arrange a cleaning the previous day. The communication and consistency were extremely frustrating. To top everything off, the card machine was broken, which just added to an already incredibly disappointing experience. I completely understand that hotels can experience staff shortages and that not everything can be perfect. However, there is a difference between a minor inconvenience and a room being left with stained pillows, someone else's socks, an unpleasant smell, an inadequately stocked bathroom and repeated failures to clean the room after being specifically asked to do so. I have always trusted Premier Inn because I believed the standard would be reliable. Unfortunately, this stay was nowhere near the standard I have previously experienced, and paying over £400 for three nights made the disappointment even worse. I sincerely hope this was an isolated issue with this particular hotel, because after years of being happy with Premier Inn, this experience has genuinely made me reconsider staying with the chain again.

It's not a seafront hotel for starters, but this would be fine. My main issue was when I entered my room, the stench was unbearable. I left in less than 30 seconds. Eventually we got another room which smelt the same. Honestly , I don't know what I expected after seeing the carpark. It looked like a junkyard.

Had a terrible time here. My room was under a generator and had no sleep due to the noise and a very noisy family above jumping around none stop. The toilet seat had a huge crack in it which made it impossible to sit on it or you would have had an injury informed the staff nothing was done to rectify it. I’ve paid quite a premium charge for this room so higher levels of expectation is expected I booked a double room walked in to 2 single beds The breakfast don’t waste your money could not even cut the egg as it was so rubbery. The bread was stale as it is not covered over. It was not changed whilst I was there even though was asked to do. Never again would I stop here especially paying over 160 for one night the mattress was vile
