- GGGraeco4 days ago1.0Fined £100 for paying to charge my EV in their car park. Absolutely disgraceful. The charging bay said it was a max stay of 90 mins and I left after 57 mins. Confirmed with the staff that I was ok to park there too. Will never stay at a Holiday Inn ever again

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. If they would consider a shuttle bus next year as an extra for people staying for Download, it would be 6 stars never mind 5!

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and really well maintained, with a calm atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxing break. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The staff were a real highlight — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Check-in was smooth and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The location is also ideal, especially for easy access to the M1 and nearby Derby or Nottingham. Overall, this hotel offered great value for money and a very enjoyable experience. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.
